Rob Chubb Former Professional Basketball Player

Robert Chubb attended Auburn University, where he played for the university’s varsity basketball team. After he graduated from Auburn with a degree in Business Administration, he played professional basketball in Germany for Giessen 46ers. He had the privilege of being immersed in German culture and language while his team competed for the league title. Chubb relished his time there and his opportunity to train in a multicultural atmosphere.

Robert Chubb was a former team captain for the Auburn University basketball team. As captain, he set team goals, created a strategy to reach these goals, and balanced a schedule that included 15 hours of coursework and over 50 hours of workouts, practices, games, and travel per week with the team. Chubb played professional ball in Germany and today lives and works in Charleston, South Carolina.

Robert Chubb has always found comfort and challenge on the basketball court. He played multiple sports growing up, but became extremely talented and interested in basketball as he got older. Chubb played with current NBA players Lorenzo Brown and Derrick Favors while playing in the AAU leagues. He eventually was recruited by Auburn University, where he became the team captain.

Rob Chubb Pursuing Master’s Degree in Landscape

Architecture

Robert Chubb is at work on a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture. He wants to eventually own his own business concerned with high-end landscaping. His vision includes using drone technology to produce computerized landscape models that users can toggle back and forth with different options. He is developing his experience in sales while he studies to earn his advanced degree.
