rocess:tarted by creating an 11” by 8.5” landcape project. I then placed my

lor scheme, since the most notable color in the photograph was violet. I then

eated a violet rectangle layer and placed it above my background image. I also

eated a white rectangle layer and lowered the opacity and placed it beneath my

st rectangle. I then created a text box and inseted my quote, which matched the

age, because it was about the importance of working hard.

rocess:tarted by creating three original logos in Adobe Indesign. I held a

ll amongst my friends and family to decide which to use, and they

ose my camera sillouette logo. I created this logo by making basic

mera shapes in Indesign and placing the initials of the company in the

gative space. The next step was to create three different color schemes for

e logo. My original logo was monochromatic. I decided to make two more.

r one of them I chose to use Triadic (Red, Yellow, Blue), and the other was

bjective:e main objective of this project was to learn the basics of

TML and CSS and website design.

rocess:made this web page entirely with Notepad++. I wrote the HTML

m scratch, but based it on our rst assignment. I downloaded

e Demo CSS document and made some changes to it. This includedanging the header fonts to “Cabin” and general sans-serif and changing the

ckground from light blue to maroon. I also changed the H1 background to

hite to provide better Gestalt.

sics of Indesign and how to create a proper project folder.

rocess:he rst step I took for this project was to sketch. I then showed my

ommates my various designs and they helped me choose this design.

hen went about producing it in Indesign. I liked the overlapping boxes,

cause it gave the design depth. I repeated the different shades in similar

tterns throughout my design to give it repetition and asymmetry. I made

re to arrange the boxes in a way that it gave my image a visual ow from

p left to bottom right. I was also careful to give my fonts different sizes and

cknesses, so that it would create more visual ow and establish visual precedent.

bjective:e main objectives of this project were to learn how to

m quality images, further our skill at making logos, and to

arn how to incorporate folds into a design.

rocess:tarted by creating a new logo in Indesign. I like some of the logos

pinterest that were contained in a light blue circle and made the fontnegative space, so I used that and made it look like a scoreboard. Then

reated a two pages, three panels per page project in Indesign and began

aking my panels. I trimmed four different images on panels 1, 3, and 5. I also

ed masks to blend images into their backgrounds on panels 2 and 4. I made

ragraph styles for the headers and the body copy and applied them to all of my text.

bjective:e main objectives of this project were to learn the

sics of creating business cards, including watermarks and

pography, and to further our skills with the Adobe Suite.

rocess:nce the logo I created was already in the shape of a business card, I

cided to use that to my advantage and trim down the edges so that onlye negative space circle of the camera shutter were left. I then used left

gned font in the same color as the negative space to give the information for

e business card. Since the logo in the camera shutter was a sans-serif, I decided

make the body font an oldstyle to compliment it. On the back of the business card

epeated the entire logo so that it would reveal what had changed on the front.

rocess:tarted creating my stationary by looking up designs on pinterest. I

ticed that some of my favorite designs had small repeating shapes, so Icided to do that and connect my left aligned text to my logo. I used small

rcles since my logo was very round and had a circle in the middle, which

ted as the camera shutter. I also included a watermark in the bottom right of my

ge, which was the logo. I watched the provided tutorial to learn how to do this. It

lped give my design visual ow and balance.
