PROFILEA diligent graduate, self-employed by Kerscomms Limited with a promise in successfully offering a ‘simply different’ way of working. Graduated with a 2:1 Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Economic and Social Studies specialising in Business Studies from the University of Manchester in 2015. The UK’s largest Economics department has provided me with robust strategic knowledge in management, investment and business development alongside solid political, social and economic expertise across business, industry and the wider economy. Whilst living at University my academic UK Telecoms knowledge was complimented through L2600, 4G and Metropolis projects at Clarke Telecom and ITL whilst I currently contract for WHP Huawei OEM and Paragon Telecoms Early Cab Drop Project. My I.T. proficiency is not exclusively academic. Hands-on experience gained through Clarke Telecom and Clarke Energy I.T. departments will develop day-to-day business processes and add real value by streamlining operations and ultimately financial efficiency. and electrical resource help to exceed nationwide regional targets for Vodafone in the most productively efficient way i.e. reallocating resource appropriately according to logistical site dependencies. Balancing University with my telecoms career.

Leadership. Having captained the Under 16s ISA North England, school and local football teams I have always been a leader. From school house captain and prefect I became the Business and Economics departmental representative during college, headed a team in the IFS Student Investor Challenge and lead University group presentations.

Advanced I.T. Expertise. Refining procedures with conviction. Alongside I.T. work experience at Clarke Energy and Clarke Telecom I have experience in creating practical macro-enabled databases for real life companies through I.T. A Level.

Independent. Besides spending 3 academic years living away from home my inter-disciplinary degree was more personalised than most as it offered a unique level of module selection from the largest Economics department in the UK. This placed a greater personal obligation to strategically select what I believe to be more vocational areas which resulted in a more independent and individually tailored degree. I also have a UK Driver’s License.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY Managing Director of Kerscomms Limited. June 2016-Present.

Kerscomms Limited ultimately promises to get well equipped people at the right place at the right time in a ‘simply different’ way. My start up company has the ambition to provide innovative project management expertise to clients across industries but with meticulous interest within telecommunications. My well-founded economic background has created a platform to successfully manage my own company which contracts for WHP, Paragon Telecoms and Vodafone.

Project Coordinator at Paragon Telecoms for Vodafone Early Cab Drop Project February 2016-Present.

Successful project planning starts with identifying differences in civils preparations, transmission cabs and delivery methods which enable more precise call offs, overheads, client quotations and generally help to challenge the status quo in site delivery methodology. Once sites enter our pipeline, best practice preparation via Evenflow, Omnix, Remedy, Sharepoint, WIG and Arqiva allow maximum knowledge prior to site visit. Geo-clustering site surveys providers engineers more time on site to ensure a higher quality HOP to again ensure the correct kit is called off. However, you cannot anticipate everything therefore on the day workarounds such as alternative cab location and power ups are accepted by clients, designers and engineers because of the initial ‘get it right first time’ attitude achieved by the planning stage which avoids costly site revisits. Overall this streamlines the operations and invoicing processes which I have experience in. The standalone RFI element is the pre-requisite to fibre and microwave delivery which continuously present diverse logistical problems. Solutions include sourcing legacy cab workaround using specialist breakers, boards, brackets, connectors and temporary generator power to enable remote testing capabilities ahead of schedule. Other processes include identifying, creating and finalising invoices, PO’s, RAMS, HOPS alongside arranging specialist cranes, delivery equipment and steel fabrication with subcontractors to ensure site completion.

Project Coordinator WHP Telecoms – Huawei OEM BHOPs November 2016-Present

Identifying discrepancies between anticipated and actual scope of works ranging from upgraded monopoles, civils, brackets, transmission cabinets and PSU’s. Obtaining missing information in the most cost effective way ideally during defect revisits, by aligning

riggers and electricians to capture DTF, PIM and RL alongside testing for 17th editions. Sourcing GDC’s and certificate of conformities from design and steelwork partners. Overall, these measures ensure more precise design team As Builts and reduce HOP failures.

Farm Maintenance & Landscaper at Blakeley Farm. September 2012-January 2016.

Driving mini diggers and tractors in landscaping, rockery and garden projects alongside general painting and farm maintenance.

Project Coordinator at ITL. January 2015.Evaluating site specific resource and plant requirements for the L2600, 4G overlay and Metropolis projects for Vodafone. This included planning surveys, cherry pickers, cranes, drop zones, road closures, scaffolding and abseiling equipment with external companies. These provided the framework to create appropriate site schedules. I then arranged site signal outages and ensured all RAMS, HOPS and picklists were completed. I provided solutions in daily internal and external conference calls and had alternative backup sites.

Project Administrator at Clarke Telecom. July-August 2012-2014By searching internal and external databases I arranged access to equipment with site providers via phone, e-mail and online portals whilst ensuring engineers could operate to schedule. Simultaneously I updated collaborative spreadsheets to track the progress of each individual 3G/4G site and shared them with Ericsson, Vodafone and O2 representatives.

I.T Department Work Experience at Clarke Energy & Clarke Telecom. June- August 2011-2012.Whilst studying A Level I.T. I wanted to enhance and apply my capabilities to determine how the service aspect of I.T. plays a critical supporting role across departments. Therefore, I seized the opportunity to work within the I.T. departments for both Clarke Telecom and multinational power generation market leader Clarke Energy. Firstly, as reliability was the core value for Clarke Energy’s successful international operations, I.T. played the paramount role in minimizing the response time for service engineers to attend power generation sites. By analysing the system processes behind how real time engine performance statistics were communicated accurately to remote teams I realized the true dependency different departments had with I.T.

Due to vigorous operations expansion my day-to-day roles began by evaluating new recruitments positions and tailoring their I.T. equipment accordingly in order to meet their expected business requirements. This included setting up Blackberry devices and user profiles, implementing appropriate access rights restrictions to sensitive business data and enabling e-mail archiving to ensure local and off site back-ups. I later provided real-time software solutions to our global clients by responding to helpdesk related queries, remotely logging into their machines and creating user guides for identified problems to add to our knowledge base for future purposes. Other tasks included replacing faulty hardware, setting up secure conference calls and monitoring employees’ software installations. Overall the I.T. practices synchronised different nationalities, cultures and time zones but more importantly broadened my I.T. expertise as the processes were the gateway to improve all business dealings.

Croft Driving Range. July 2008-September 2012.On Saturday mornings I collected golf balls and served customers behind a till around my school and college timetables.

INTERESTS Besides travelling I relish the social aspects of horse racing, golf and football but have a particular passion for rugby league. I remain fascinated by the financial industry and its regulation besides landscaping, architecture and renovation projects.
