The Official Programme January-February 2015

Its Panto ! Its the busiest time for us here at IHDC where both the adults and youth teams come together to put on a fantastic show. Again this year we have had a great summer with a festival for the youths and two one act plays back in July. We have come off the back of those successes and straight in-to full time rehearsals for Robin Hood. It is a huge task to put on a big pantomime but it is a task that every single member of the cast takes on with smiles and energy. Everyone has worked so hard on this project and I thank every one of them for their efforts I always look forward to working with them and they never fail to make me smile! That being said it is a big role to take on when directing a show and I certainly couldnt do it without the support of some really key people. Of course everyone has their part to play but I personally would like to thank a special few. Carol Campling truly is my right hand woman! She organises us all (especially me) and keeps me calm in times of stress. I truly thank you Carol! Matthew Streuli who not only wows as the Dame every year but also advertises our shows. Without him you wouldn't be sitting here!- which is crucial as with-out ticket sales & a small membership fee we simply couldn't continue to run. I lastly want to mention James Pearce who is a professional when it comes to sound and lighting. We here at IHDC are lucky enough to call him part of the family and year after year he provides both his and his crews services to us. Every year I ask big things and he never fails to deliver. He is truly valued by

me and I am sure I speak for everyone. Lastly thanks to you, our audience, without whom again we just wouldnt run so on behalf of all at IHDC we thank you. I hope you enjoy the show and remember to join in!

Lee has been with the club for around 5 years and has a varietyof roles from panto villain

through to Hamlet. Get ready ladies as he sets your hearts a quiver!

Lucy has been working her way up through our Junior ranks including her appearance as

Beth in the 2012 Award Winning Play OZ and in this years Woking Drama Play CARE.

Grovel & Snivel Louis Theochari & Falcon Garman

Louis joined us as a shy boy some 10 years ago and finally he's got a big role and girlfriend. Patience pays off kids! Meanwhile, Falcon has been with IHDC for almost seven years with a variety of roles from comedy guards

to panto princesses.

Dame Nellie Nickerlastic Matt Streuli

Voted the Sexiest Man in a Skirt in a unpublicised pole, Vice Chaireman Matt returns in his heels once more . He also designed this programme which is

why it says hes the best panto actor ever. Oh yes he is!

Sam - The Babes Charlie Williams and Connor McGinn

Charlies parents met through our club so it is great to see him follow their footsteps.

Connor has been with the club for almost 4 years and this is his biggest panto role yet.

Ella - The Babes Alice Campling

Over the past 6 years Alice has worked her way up through Summer shows including 2012

award winning play OZ and has now earned a leading role. She also makes a great cuppa tea.

Will Scarlet Emily Campling

After working her way up through the junior section, Emily is a mainstay of Panto. Her

previous roles also include a comedy Guard, and she was Prince Charming last year.

Friar Tuck John Williams

John first joined the club some twenty years ago and yet he is still wearing the same costume. His previous

roles also include the Friar in Romeo & Juilet and several Panto Kings.

Little John Aidan Parr

After first appearing as King Claudius, Aidan loved his first time in drag last year so much he demanded a role

in tights! Hes the kind of frood who always knows where his towel is.

Sheriff of Nottingham Terry Sharp

Terry has been with us for almost 25 years. Over that time hes been panto dame, set designer and builder

and Director but hes back doing what he loves: making you cry! Mwah hahaa!
