Getting Started!

1. Install the Robot. The Proform Robot is powered by the award wining analytics engine: Metastock. So really when you install Proform you actually get two software programs in one simple package.

3. Open a brokerage account. You will need a brokerage account to initiate any investments. We recommend a couple of great brokers. Check them out on our website in the gadgetry section.

4. Register for you class. In your first training class, you will learn how to get started investing the simple way. Plus you will learn the two most important skills for investing. We recommend getting started right away with next available class.

There are three steps you must do right away to get started.

To install the Proform Robot powered by MetaStock, 1. Insert the Program CD into your drive. The setup starts automatically*.2. Follow the on-screen instructions. You will be prompted to enter a Setup Key. Your Setup Key is found in the email you received from MetaStock.

*Note: If the auto-run feature of Windows isn’t enabled on your system, click the Start button and choose the Run command. Type “D:\SETUP.EXE” in the Open box and click the OK button. (The letter “D” represents the letter assigned to your CD-ROM drive. If your drive is assigned to a different letter, use it instead of “D.”)

Step 1: Install the Robot

After you have installed Proform Robot powered by MetaStock, you will want to open it and make sure the program works. Before you begin,

1. Make sure that you are connected to the Internet.2. Make sure that MetaStock knows the user ID and pass-word for your Data Provider.

To run MetaStock:1. Choose Programs from the Start menu.2. Choose Equis International.3. Choose MetaStock.

The first time you run MetaStock, you’ll see a “Tip of the Day” to read the online manual. It will also ask if you want to watch the “MetaStock Quick Start Tutorials?” We recommend that you take an opportunity to become familiar with MetaStock.
