In The Moment: The Art of Being is a method that teaches how to master the space between ourselves and the rest of the world by attaining a heightened state of consciousness -- being in the moment. Being in the moment helps us achieve a clarity and level of strength, wisdom, and truthfulness that encourages us to practice staying in the moment for longer periods of time.

This workshop provides specific tools and techniques including:

• What it means to be a body of electromagnetic force; • The vocabulary to define different sources of energy within and around us; • Using literary texts to experiment with how we act in daily life - how we enter into conversations, how we relate to our mental, physical and emotional boundaries; • Using visualization, eyes open and on our feet, to create pathways between the mind, body, and our presence;• Examining looping patterns of habitual, disruptive, or interfering thoughts and behaviors, and learning how to demagnetize ourselves in order to unlock our deeper potential;• Finding the ‘corridor of presence’ and hitting neutral – where judgment ceases.

Being in the moment is a conscious and repeatable act. Locating yourself on the map of you, separating the mechanical and material form from the thoughtful presence allows us to ‘get up to speed.’ A practiced understanding of posture, breath, and visualization, clarifies and refines the strength and quality of our character. Living without judgment gives access to the available wisdom at our very fingertips. Energy follows thought. This wisdom, obtained in the moment allows us to make decisions about how to act now.

In The Moment is the practice of the art of being. It allows us to focus on the part we are playing in this play called our life. We need to be as complicated as we are.

“Written in the cross between Zen, acting, psychology and neuroscience, In the Moment: The Art of Being, is

brilliant, radiant. It gives back ourselves to ourselves.”

and inspires. Get ready to think afresh, and create anew – what a journey awaits each actor who embraces Robyn’s deep humanity and brilliant imagination.”

Dean Carey, Author, Creative Director/FounderActors Centre Australia

“There is something not of any ‘time’ about Robyn’s big work. It is as if she has tapped into something in the ethos, something important for us struggling mortals, and she has the gift to help us see it, and

grow brighter, more alive.”

Holland Taylor, Actress

“This is the Be Here Now of acting technique manuals. Robyn Lee takes us beyond mere believability on the stage and points to a legible transmittable truth between the actor and the audience which we

should come to expect in the context of contemporary culture. She increases the dignity of the ac-tor’s art. This book opens new doors for beginners and experienced actors alike. Indeed it is a useful

and insightful book for anyone seeking to live their lives In The Moment.”

Carlo Altomare, Artistic DirectorTheaterlab NYC

“A healing and a very deep acting lesson. It is like learning from Stella Adler while you receive the spiritual wisdom of Eckhart Tolle and the knowledge of the Dalai Lama. Being in the moment is being

in tune with life. It is that simple.”
