One day the huge Rainbow Serpent woke up and crawled to the surface of the Earth. It wandered through the whole country leaving tracks everywhere. Sample Slide www.ks1resources.co.uk The frogs came out from their hiding holes with stomachs full of water. The Rainbow Serpent tickled them to make them laugh and as they laughed, water poured out of their mouths. The water filled the tracks left by the Rainbow Serpent and that was how rivers and creeks were made. Sample Slide www.ks1resources.co.uk The Rainbow Serpent was so long that it would take people days to reach the end of its tail and cross the water that filled the tracks it had made in the earth. The two men are getting ready to do the “Long Jump”. The other three men you can see are doing the “Hop, Step and Jump” across the muddy streams made by the serpent.
