The Shining Facts
Rocky Mountain Power/PacifiCorp has recently entered into contracts for 125 megawatts of purchased and owned solar capacity- enough to power 31,250 homes.
MidAmerican Renewables LLC has 1,419 megawatts of solar capacity-enough to power 354,750 homes. This capacity is spread over three of the largest solar projects on the planet.

Supporting the Expansion of Renewables
Blue Sky Program- Since 2000, 38,582 Utah customers funded more than 100 small project community-based grants. This is an award winning, Department of Energy certified program.
Utah Solar Incentive Program- Began 2013, $50M over 5 years, 50 megawatts.
Net-Metering & Schedule 32- As of today 2,515 Utah Customers, 18 megawatts.
Rocky Mountain Power’s Wattsmart program has saved Utah, Wyoming and Idaho customers 1.4 million megawatt hours in past 5 years. That’s equivalent to the total generation output of a 160 megawatt gas-peaking power plant for five years.
