September 2012 Dear Friends, As the end of the summer period approaches, the season is drawing to a successful close with great hopes for the months to come. This latest newsletter provides us an opportunity to tell you about the delivery of two large flagship vessels and report on the Group’s 40th anniversary which was celebrated with emotion at the 18th Rodriguez Rendez-vous. The boat show season has arrived and we will be presenting our best yachts at the Festival de la Plaisance de Cannes, the Monaco Yacht Show, and the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. Our chandlery “Le Yacht” continues to grow with the opening of the “Crew Store”: a new retail section dedicated to crew outfits and uniforms; and the arrival of a brand new “ready- to-wear” collection for the autumn. We will also have the pleasure in this issue of presenting you an important member of our team: Roy Ayache, head of the After-Sales Service Department, a real “added-value” for the group. Lastly, you will discover our boat news, including the first pictures of one of our future stars currently under construction, the Italyachts 50M. As the end of the summer period approaches, the season is drawing to a successful close with great hopes for the months to come. This latest newsletter provides us an opportunity to tell you about the delivery of two large flagship vessels and report on the Group’s 40th anniversary which was celebrated with emotion at the 18th Rodriguez Rendez-vous.

The boat show season has arrived and we will be presenting our best yachts at the Festival de la Plaisance de Cannes, the Monaco Yacht Show, and the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.

Our chandlery “Le Yacht” continues to grow with the opening of the “Crew Store”: a new retail section dedicated to crew outfits and uniforms; and the arrival of a brand new “ready-to-wear” collection for the autumn.

The 18Th RodRiGuez Rendez-VousThe 18th Rodriguez Rendez-Vous was an opportunity to celebrate the Group’s 40th anniversary by gathering our finest vessels together again this summer in the heart of st. Tropez.More than 800 guests: yacht owners, prospective buyers, long-standing clients… everyone was able to enjoy the evening held in the exceptional setting of the St Tropez port, specially hired for this private occasion where close to 40 vessels, some just recently out of the shipyards, were on show.An official partner of the Rodriguez Group, BLAnCPAin was one of the evening’s key players, displaying wonders of fine watchmaking. AsTon MARTin presented one of its leading models: the “RAPIDE”, which aroused the interest of those in St. Tropez.

deLiVeRy of Two LARGe yAChTs This suMMeR The summer season has been particularly outstanding for the Rodriguez Group with the delivery of two yachts, both over 40 metres long.The sanlorenzo 40 Alloy “Alloya”, whose innovations such as the wheelhouse “butterfly” doors and the “balconies on sea” need no introduction, and the italyachts 43 “Graziadiu”, very popular for its sleek sporty exterior, its performances, and distinguished by its spacious interiors and luxurious decor.

oPeninG of The AuTuMn BoAT show seAson: CAnnes, MonACo, And foRT LAudeRdALe

The fesTiVAL de LA PLAisAnCe de CAnnes will launch the start of the season of autumn boat shows this coming September 11th.

Held at the end of the boating season, from 11 - 16 September, the show in Cannes is an absolute must for buyers from all over the world.The Rodriguez Group will be at the Vieux Port in Cannes presenting the latest models built by our partner shipyards: Cerri, Italyachts and Sanlorenzo, and at Port Pierre Canto displaying the best second-hand yachts.

The Rodriguez Group will also be present at the festival de la Plaisance through our group’s subsidiary Camper and nicholsons which will be exhibiting a selection of 15 large yachts at the Port Pierre Canto.

The MonACo yAChT showThis major event for the presentation of mega yachts will be held from 19th to 22nd september 2012 in the heart of Port Hercules.The Rodriguez Group will be displaying the latest in the italyachts range: the italyachts 43M “Graziadiu” will be moored at T32; the sanlorenzo 46 steel “Achilles” and the 40 Alloy “Alloya” will be on show at QT23.

foRT LAudeRdALe BoAT showThe 53rd foRT LAudeRdALe BoAT show will be held from 25th to 29th october 2012.This show will enable us to get closer to our American clientele and the South American market which has been showing increasing interest in our yachts.we will be presenting the brand new Cerri 102’, composite sportfly from the Cerri range, our most recent partner, with whom we have a worldwide exclusivity agreement.

PResenTATion of A fuTuRe sTAR of ouR RAnGe: THE ITALYACHTS 50Mwe are proud to announce that the italyachts 50M, the first aluminium vessel in the Rodriguez range, has been under construction for the past 10 months. Its delivery date is set for the end of the year 2013.

The idea of a high-performance all-aluminium 50M Hard Top was the initiative of Gérard Rodriguez. The project, now

managed by our sales team, was quickly launched by italyachts in Massa.

The designers chosen are Rodriguez Group regulars: Andrea Bacigalupo is behind the streamlined shape and Cristiano Gatto its interiors.

Capacity and speed were the key words for building this yacht: the boat comprises 5 cabins including a full-beam owner’s suite with access to the main deck, and an upper deck opening onto a large terrace with a bar, solarium and Jacuzzi. Thanks to a jet propulsion system and twin MTu 2600 hP engines, this exceptional yacht can reach speeds of up to 30 knots with a draft not exceeding 1.75 m.

They can be customized on request.

“ALwAys Be TheRe foR The CusToMeR” ThAT’s his MoTTo…Roy AyAChe, heAd of AfTeR-sALes seRViCes

Throughout its life, your yacht has to have regular impeccable maintenance and assistance. That way, it will last a maximum number of years. It is for this reason the After-Sales Service department was created within the Rodriguez Group some years ago. Its mission: to be at the disposal of each owner whose yacht is from our fleet, whether it is new or secondhand.

Roy Ayache is the department manager and he appl ies to perfection the philosophy that has been his since joining the Rodriguez Group, 23 years ago, when he was preparing customers’ yachts: “you have to know how to do everything in order to be able to meet any demand”. The team, known as the “pontonniers”, is made up of about ten people. It is: “Dedicated to satisfying the customer and his pleasure of fully enjoying his yacht.” Consequently,

they take care of the vessels: daily cleaning inside and out, preparation for visits, for sea trials and technical trials, listing and verification of all equipment, and if necessary any repairs, painting and odd jobs...As Roy explains very well: “what makes the difference in our Group is the service we offer our customers; the guarantee that everything is perfect…from the first visit to the first outings at sea.”

For Roy, the relationship with the crews also plays a dominant role. The captains are the first affected by the life of the boat: “we work together hand in hand.”The After-sales service department is a natural and crucial link between the Group and its customers. Roy is pleased with the added value his department brings and makes every effort to ensure the customer’s maximum satisfaction, as he says: “ultimately, once the vessel joins our fleet, we’re there every step of the way; our department is a Before-sales and After-sales service that always keeps in touch with the customer.”
