ROLE PLAY ACTIVITY NAME OF THE ACTIVITY: ONE DAY, ONE STAGE LEVEL: 3 rd GRADE OF ESO TARGET GROUP: Group of 20 students and they split in 5 groups of 4 each ACTIVITY DEVELOPMENT: On the one hand, teacher organizes in a timetable one stage every day of the weak. For example: Monday would be the beach, Tuesday the castle, Wednesday the igloo, Thursday desert island and Friday pirate boat. On the other hand there are two boxes. In one there are many characters: policeman, witch, babies, cats… And in the other one there are some elements: table, ball, sun, broom, socks… The main activity goes like this: every day one group takes one paper from each box, randomly, and they have to represent a story taking into account the scenario and the papers they took from the boxes. Before we are supposed to have explained which is the structure of a story: “Once upon a time…” “What happened later was…”, “Suddenly appeared”, “An unexpected success…”,“Finally…”, “At the end” Example: On Monday, Pere, Laia, Joan i Roseta take from character’s box a POLICEMAN and from the elements’ box an APPLE. ROLE PLAY ACTIVITY

ACTIVITY DEVELOPMENT:
