Greening Process
Introduction
The productive process of Romaltyn represents the extraction of useful contents – gold and silver – from mining waste, through different stages (see:http://romaltyn.com/what-we-do/).
The three areas on which the company will work, as well as the area covered by the water transport pipes, will be rehabilitated and greened at the end of the activity on the entire surface.
GreeningThe rehabilitation process implies:- The complete decommissioning of the constructions;- Removing superficial soil, leveling and covering all surfaces, which sum up to around 165 hectares, with vegetal soil;- Seeding with grass and shrubs;- The fertilization of the surfaces;
The greening process of the Meda Pond
A similar process was implemented after the exploitation of the Meda Pond, the evolution of the process can be seen in the next slides.

Investment
The invested funds that amount over $10 million will be allocated for the decommissioning of the industrial facilities, the rehabilitation processes of the mining perimeters, social protection and post-closing monitoring.
