In addition to English, and Spanish this Sacrament may also be in Italian.

•WEDDINGS/ MATRIMONIO Pre–marital instruction is a requirement for all engaged couples. Consequently, arrangements for weddings should be made SIX MONTHS in advance.

“Therefore, it is necessary that one of the men who accompanied us the whole time the Lord Jesus came and went among us, beginning from the baptism of John until the day He was taken up from us, become with us a witness to his resurrection… Then they prayed, ‘You, Lord, who know the hearts of all, show which one of these two you have chosen to take the place

in this apostolic ministry from which Judas turned away to go to his own place.’” As the early church prayed that the Lord direct the choice of the twelfth apostle, they listed the requirements of time, presence, and witness. The word ‘accompanied’ is the image so often used by Pope Francis, as we are accompanied by and walk with Jesus. Their prayer should be our prayer, for the Lord knows well our hearts. He continues to choose among our parish families people to fill His ministry. He continues to choose others who will be ordained this month to continue the apostolic ministry. May we pray for those to be ordained, ask the Lord to inspire others to follow and do His work, and find us supporting those who have responded to His call. We too need time, presence, and witness. “Es necesario que uno de los que han estado en nuestra compañía durante todo el tiempo que el Señor Jesús permaneció con nosotros, desde el bautismo de Juan hasta el día de la ascensión, sea constituido junto con nosotros testigo de su resurrección… Y oraron así: ‘Señor, tú que conoces los corazones de todos, muéstranos a cuál de los dos elegiste para desempeñar el ministerio del apostolado, dejado por Judas al irse al lugar que le correspondía.’” Al tiempo que oraban los primeros cristianos para que el Señor los dirigiera al escoger el duodécimo apostol, listaron los requerimientos de tiempo, de presencia y de ser testigo. La palabra ‘acompañar’ es la imagen que tan ame-nudo usa el Papa Francisco, ya que somos acompañados y caminamos con Jesús. La oración de ellos debería ser nuestra oración, ya que el Señor conoce bien nuestros corazones. El continúa escogiendo dentro de las familias de nuestra parroquia a aquellos que lleven a cabo Su ministerio. El continúa escogiendo otros que serán ordenados este mes y continuarán su ministerio apostólico. Oremos por los que serán ordenados, pida al Señor que inspire a otros a seguir y hacer Su trabajo, y que podamos apoyar a los que han respondido a Su llamado. Nosotros también necesitamos tiempo, presencia y ser testigos.

Lo Spirito Santo è lo Spirito di Cristo ed è la Persona divina che diffonde nel mondo la possibilità di imitare Cristo, dando Cristo al mondo e facendolo vivere in noi. Nell’insegnamento e nell’opera di Cristo, nulla è più essenziale del perdono. Egli ha proclamato il regno futuro del Padre come regno dell’amore misericordioso. Sulla croce, col suo sacrificio perfetto, ha espiato i nostri peccati, facendo così trionfare la misericordia e l’amore mediante - e non contro - la

giustizia e l’ordine. Nella sua vittoria pasquale, egli ha portato a compimento ogni cosa. Per questo il Padre si compiace di effondere, per mezzo del Figlio, lo Spirito di perdono. Nella Chiesa degli apostoli il perdono viene offerto attraverso i sacramenti del battesimo e della riconciliazione e nei gesti della vita cristiana. Dio ha conferito al suo popolo una grande autorità stabilendo che la salvezza fosse concessa agli uomini per mezzo della Chiesa! Ma questa autorità, per essere conforme al senso della Pentecoste, deve sempre essere esercitata con misericordiae con gioia, che sono le caratteristiche di Cristo, che ha sofferto ed è risorto, e che
