  • MEDIA ANNUAL REPORT 2018

Romans 10:14 GNT “But how can they call to Him for help if they have not believed? And how can they believe if they have not heard the message? And how can they hear if the message is not proclaimed”?

Many members of the FTS targeted communities are able to testify the huge impact that the Audio Bibles with the Look, Listen and Live (LLL) books have brought in their lives.

    HIGHLIGHTS

    1. Children are finding it easy to know and understand Bible stories

    2. The LLL books gives room even to those who are illiterate to understand Bible stories and make contributions during Bible study. This has helped to increase the number of Bible study members

    3. The old people who are unable to go to church, are helped to access the gospel through Audio Bibles

    DISTRIBUTION

This year 2018 we distributed 125 Audio Bibles and 102 Look, Listen and Live (LLL) Books to Sunday schools, Kid clubs, Bible study groups and the elderly:

    1. Nkhoma and Chilenje - 101 Audio Bibles and 78 sets of LLL

    2. Salima - 11 audio Bibles and 11 sets of LLL

    3. NKhotakota - 11 audio Bibles and 11 sets of LLL

    4. Lilongwe - 2 audio Bibles and 2 sets of LLL

“ Most of the times I miss church because I find difficulties in

walking, but I have benefited a lot with the picture books

and Audio Bibles. Sometimes I even use the audio bibles and

picture books to share the gospel with my fellow women

during our meetings”. Zelita Katsala from area 24, Lilongwe

  • STATISTICS OF GROUPS WHO ARE BENEFITTING FROM AUDIO BIBLES AND LLL MATERIAL:

    a) 6,752 children (2,569 boys & 4,183 girls) from Nkhoma, Chilenje, Salima and Nkhotakota’s weekly kidclubs activities. There are 97 kid clubs in Nkhoma, Chilenje, Nkhotakota and Salima.

    b) 834 adults (664 women and 170 men) attended Bible study programs through 48 adult Bible clubs in Nkhoma, Chilenje and Nkhotakota.

    CHALLENGES

    1. Its hard to get reports from communities

    2. Till date, no individual churches are involved in Media ministry, but through Pastors’ fraternal groups

    3. The Chilumba people within Karonga find it hard to use the Kyangonde Audio Bibles since most of them are Tumbu-

    ka speaking people

    WAY FORWARD

    1. Exchange the Kyangonde Audio Bibles with Tumbuka or Chewa Audio Bibles

    2. To approach Foundation of Christ-centered Education base in Karonga, if they could have easier access to Kyan-

gonde people for distribution of Kyangonde Audio Bibles.

    2. Follow up on the Audio Bibles and encourage the people to be writing reports

    3. There is a need to work with individual churches, maybe through that we can be able to get the reports.

    4. The Audio bibles with faults to be sent to South Africa for repairing.

PROJECTED RECORDINGS FOR THE YEAR 2018/2019

FTS Ministries Discipleship Training— one to one and live session

The purpose of doing this is to expand the effectiveness of Audio Bibles

DATA OF AUDIO BIBLES IN THE AREAS

    1. Nkhoma and Chilenje 104

    2. Salima 24

    3. Nkhotakota 12

    4. Karonga 44

    5. Lilongwe 2

TOTALS: 186 AUDIO Bibles ( 10 of which are broken and not functioning) and 186 LLL books

  • RECORDING:

Out of these three programs, we only tried to record live session unfortunately it did not come out well due to

sound quality which was poor. The place was not conducive for recording. The people to be recorded were

committed with other things, so we could not proceed with the recordings.

    OTHER ACHIEVEMENTS:

It was a dream of FTS to have a studio and now the dream has come to pass, the construction of the recording studio is almost done now. We believe that God will use this studio to its fullness, and many people will be saved through the work which will come out in this office.

To God be the glory for all that has been accomplished!
