Heaven's Rocking Chair

Are there rocking chairs in Heaven

where little babies go?

Do the angels hold you closely

and rock you to and fro?

Do they talk silly baby talk

to get a smile or two,

and sing the sleepy lullabies

I used to sing to you?

My heart is aching for you,

my angel child so dear.

You brought such joy into my life,

the short time you were here.

I know you're in a happy place,

and in God's loving care.

I dream each night I'm rocking you

in Heaven's rocking chair.

Your Grandparents

Ad’lison Symone Duncan was born on September 18, 2017 to

Samkedra Duncan and Addreakiquez Woods. She departed

this earthly life on November 3, 2018.

Ad’lison was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather,

Samuel Duncan; paternal great grandparents, Alice Woods

and Sam McNeil.

Ad’lison was a beautiful fun loving baby girl who was loved by

many.

Ad’lison leaves to cherish her memory: Her loving mother,

Samkedra Duncan; her loving father, Addreakiquez Woods;

two sisters, Adalynn and Zoie; one brother, Carsten; maternal

grandparents, Jerry & Stephanie Bowden; paternal grand-

parents, Roledria (Stephen) Cox and Adam (Taneisha) Woods;

maternal great grandparents, Prophetess Mary Poplar, A.C.

Poplar and James Thomas Duncan; paternal great grand—

parents, Patricia (Leonard) Minter, Allen Dotson; a special

great aunt and uncle, Ronnie Poplar and Terrie Bowden and a

host of uncles and aunts, great uncles and great aunts, cousins

and friends.
