This Guardrail System provides 9ft of leading edge Fall Protection. It requires no rooftop penetration, and can be categorized as a passive Fall Protection solution.

This particular system is ideal for providing reliable Fall Protection around HVAC units, Vents, near Access Ladders, Antennas, Valves, Solar Panels, or simply near frequently

travelled areas that require routine maintenance.

Our most popular design offers 18ft of leading edge Fall Protection, with two 6ft sections for weighted ballast.

The hinged, variable fitting in the center of the 18ft section, allows for complete

versatility when installing the system. It can be straight, at 90 degrees, or anything in between, depending on your requirements.

HatchGuard is a permanent freestanding Guardrail System, which is non-penetrating, and safely protects

workers from falls through open roof hatches.

HatchGuard’s simplicity allows for our system to be integrated with virtually any rooftop opening. Our

Roof Hatch System comes standard with a spring-loaded gate, thus ensuring the gate always

returns to the safe closed position.

HatchGuard meets or exceeds all major North American Safety Standards/Regulations.

An optional fixed grab bar when exiting or entering the rooftop can be included as requested.

A standard spring-loaded gate ensures the gate always returns to the closed position, eliminating potential falls through the roof opening.

RoofStep is a counter weighted, freestanding Fall Protection system, which provides safe and reliable

access up and over elevation changes including parapet walls.

Twelve distinct kits have been designed which include; engineered ladders on the face and back of the parapet wall, a platform over the parapet area to protect sensitive roof membrane or coping material from damage, and Fall Protection guardrails with kits where falls from one elevation to another may occur.

A walk-through hand railing and a return ladder from a parapet to the roof assures safe entry and exit,

when using our system.

RoofStep utilizes our baseplate system in order to ensure optimum weight is allotted at engineered

approved points, with no drilling into the roof membrane required.

ROOFSTEP

Ladder Series (LD) RoofStep systems help workers move from one level to another, and have guardrails on the upper side to help prevent a fall to the lower level. Crossover Series (XS) RoofStep systems help workers move up and over obstructions to similar roof levels, and have 45-degree bracing on both sides for stability.

All RoofStep Kits come standard with a lower 45-degree bracing for stability.

Two RoofGuard baseplates are utilized per arm to provide adequate counter-weight to our system and stabilize the complete kit.

RoofGuard X-Press’ pre-fabricated rail sections can be installed and dismantled quickly for temporary applications, without sacrificing quality, durability,

and most importantly safety.

RoofGuard X-Press is constructed out of a single piece of 1.9” OD handrail pipe for the top and

vertical posts, with a 1” mid-rail.

SAFETY SIMPLIFIED.

Standard lengths are 8’ in powder coated high-visibility safety yellow for the leading edge/roof

edge, and 6’ guardrail sections in grey for returns/ballast.

Combine lengths in order to achieve the desired linear coverage.

Custom colours/lengths are available upon request.

In order to further simplify installation; the high-visibility safety yellow guardrail is designed specifically for the roof edge/leading edge, the grey guardrail is utilized for the returns and counterweight.

The high-visibility safety yellow is available standard in 8’ lengths and the grey is standard in 6’ sections.

All individual components are under 40lbs, which helps to minimize lifting strains during installation.

Step 1:

Secure two RoofGuard baseplates to the pre-assembled vertical posts; place the horizontal

attachment bracket on top of the baseplates.

ROOFGUARD TEMPORARY RESTRAINT ANCHOR

The RoofGuard Temporary Restraint Anchor is designed specifically for individuals conducting work near the roof edge.

This portable, temporary system allows users the flexibility to place anchor points

exactly where they need them.

Step 3:

Add the retaining pins in order to secure the baseplates in place and attach a fall

restraint system.

Step 2:

Tighten the setscrews found on the two posts and then stack another five RoofGuard baseplates onto each side

of the anchor system on the aluminum posts.
