Converted delivery vans have become in-creasinglypopular over the past few years amongst RV and motorhome customers. The Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer and Citroen Jumper in particular, that are identical in con-struction, have proven themselves an ideal basic vehicle for this sector. The SCA 212/214 sleeping roof harmonizes very well with the basic vehicle and can be in-stalled on all wheelbases with a standard high roof. It turns this kind of vehicle into a verita-ble space miracle and offers up to 5 sleeping berths depending on the model and version.

The centrepiece of the sleeping roof is a long-life GRP roof shell that is manufactured by a vacuum expansion method – a sand-wich design with hard foam insulation. struction is lightweight and at the same time very strong. It offers excellent thermal insula-tion and soundproofing.

The pop-top roof's design matches the ve-hicle's silhouette. An integrated GRP roof spoiler guarantees the optimum optical and aerodynamic connection to the vehicle. It can be painted in the vehicle's colour as an optional extra on request. The roof can be raised easily and quickly thanks to two scis-sor lifts and four pneumatic cylinders.

The standard sleeping roof offers a comfort-able 2.00 x 1.30 metre lounger facility con-sisting of plastic spring plates, mattress and cover. 45 centimetre high scissor lifts guar-antee maximum sleeping comfort with plenty of freedom of movement and legroom.

The high-quality fabric skin of flame-retard-ant fabric has three windows. The windows on the left in the direction of driving and in the front are fitted with fly-screens. Special extra: the window at the front can be fully opened for a free view. The window on the right has an insert of transparent plastic. A practical folding mechanism automatically pulls the fabric in when the roof shell is closed – without the fabric getting caught between the bodywork and roof.
