Welcome to The Percy Arms.

At the Percy Arms, we not only live in one of the most beautiful corners of Northumberland, but also have one of the best Inns in the country. Our small village of Chatton is made up of a collection of beautiful vernacular stone-built cottages, almost “chocolate box” in design, bordering our pretty village green. You almost wait for Miss Marple to appear at the door when the postman is doing his daily drop. We hope you will come and share experience and sample our tradition in hospitality and good food.

Our bar and dining area have been designed to create the atmosphere of a Northumbrian farmhouse kitchen with stone flagged floors, wrought iron and pine

tables and decoration with tasteful greens and browns.

We promote our local ales sourced throughout the whole of Northumberland as well as delicious meats from our local farms at the foothills of the Cheviots. Our special cheeses together with the range of ice creams come from Doddington Dairy near Wooler. Our breakfasts wouldn’t be complete without Carters bangers from Bamburgh and our boiled eggs from Ords village farm.

Our five bedrooms and bathrooms have recently been refurbished to the highest of standards with superb carpeting and excellent fabrics. Our facilities are tailored to modern day living and are the best 2014 had to offer.

Thinking about an extra special venue for your forthcoming Wedding celebration? We have the perfect solution. Both The Northumberland Arms and The Percy Arms have dedicated areas that can be used exclusively by yourselves to commemorate that extra special occasion.

Whatever the event - a Wedding, Anniversary, Christening, Family Birthday, a Gathering or Business ‘working’ Lunch; we have the perfect venue and will do our very best to ensure we create the perfect event for you.

For larger parties and in addition to our A la Carte menus, we have prepared set menus featuring mouth-watering dishes using fresh seasonal locally sourced produce wherever possible. Choose from either a 2 or 3 course option.

*Pre-orders required one week in advance of event wherever possible.

For those of you unsure which venue you’d like to stay at, why not experience one night at The Northumberland Arms, Felton and a night at The Percy Arms, Chatton. This two night package is based on Dinner, Bed and Breakfast - one night at each venue.

The PubWe have a large Bar area to eat in if required as well as a beautifully appointed Restaurant as well as our Lounge and River Room Conservatory (complete with a small outside terrace).

Our FoodOur talented team of chefs use locally sourced, seasonal product of the highest quality with an emphasis on great tasting food with a difference! In addition to our Lunch and Dinner Menu, we serve an award winning Breakfast plus Brunch, a Light Grazing Menu as well as a dedicated ‘Important Little People’ Menu.

Our Rooms6 luxury bedrooms rated 4* Gold by Quality in Tourism/Visit England. All bedrooms have a large walk-in shower and 4 rooms with beautiful free-standing bathtubs. Two of our rooms are dog friendly (a small supplement applies) and 5 of our rooms can be ‘twinned’ on request. An award winning breakfast is served to residents and guests alike daily from 8.30am until 10.30am.
