A Day At

One hot summer day, Jennifer, a mother of four beautiful kids, went furniture shopping. As one

knows there are various styles, the range from all prices. As soon as Jennifer reached the door, a

salesman, Robert, approached her,

“Hi, I’m Robert, anything specific you are looking for today.” “Well sir, just looking around for new living

room furniture.” He takes her over to where one might find couches, love seats, chairs, etc.

“Looks like you chose a great choice here Jennifer, this one is the finest out on the

market, and you see this is the ONLY suede couch ever made here in the United States.”

“Oh really,” Jennifer explained. “Yes. Ma’am and if you choose this couch, it would be better to buy the whole set. It comes with the matching

chair and loveseat which costs $899.00.”

Jennifer explains, “That sounds like a wonderful idea.” “And to make your experience better

here at Rooms to Go I will throw in this table for FREE.” Sir, that would be absolutely

amazing.”

“Why don’t you have a seat over here and I will be right back with the papers

to fill out.” Jennifer’s mind begins to wonder about her new living room set

she is about to purchase. She is so excited she can’t even sit still.

Out of the corner of her eye, she see’s Robert coming. “Ok Ma’am all I need to do is you’re your address, get this furniture set paid for and you will be on your way.” Filling out of the papers, it took close to 45 minutes. Robert explains, “this will be delivered to you house on November 24, 2009 at

1:00 p.m.”

November 24, 2006 arrived and Jennifer and all her kids were anxious to get their new living room furniture. They see the Rooms to Go truck from a mile away.

Jumping with the excitement, they open the back of the truck and

notice there is no table. “Sir, we are missing a table” Jennifer said. “No ma’ma, it says here on the

paperwork you only purchased the couch, loveseat, and chair.”
