to develop the rosemary pool and pond. I think this plan would be beneficial to the town on many levels, creating new community spaces in the center of town for possible teen center, community center, auditorium, playing fields, and a new pool, while saving a small pond on the site for aesthetic and rec. use. It just makes sense. My main point is that Rosemary lake is an artificial lake, filled with runoff water from the streets of Needham. its always been a polluted mess. it was created to power textile mills in the late 1800's. Before then, the area was a meadow and cow pasture. why not reclaim this valuable town property and make good use of it?TRANSCRIPT
