Rotary Club of Wichita Club 30 408 Members Upcoming Programs The Four–Way Test Cathy McClain's Air Force career spanned 25 years and offered her a myriad of leadership and coaching experiences from commanding a KC-135 crew executing missions around the globe to teaching behavioral sciences and leadership at the United States Air Force Academy. She commanded at the squadron, group and wing levels. Cathy deployed as a group commander leading combat flight operations into Iraq and served as the commander of the Air Force's largest tanker wing, the 22nd ARW at McConnell AFB. She culminated her military career at the Pentagon where she was the director of general officer promotions, assignments, and leadership development. After the Air Force Cathy joined Boeing, leading teams working on B-52 weapons systems and KC46 air refueling software. Next, she served as an executive at Spirit Aero Systems, leading the Business and Regional Jet programs. She is a Georgetown University-certified executive leadership coach. Her company, Dauntless Leadership, LLC, promotes courageous and people- centered leadership. She is chairman of the board of directors of the Air Force Academy Association of Graduates. In her spare time, Cathy serves as a reserve emergency medical technician for Sedgwick County. AGC of Kansas is recognized as the Chamber of Commerce for the Construction Industry in Kansas. AGC of Kansas represents over 325 Kansas construction general contractors, subcontractors and professional service firms and their 9,000 employees and is head- quartered in Topeka. Prior to leading AGC of Kansas, Mike represented AGC in New Mexico, Louisiana and Houston Texas. In addition, he served on the board of directors for the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) which provides national standardized construction craft training certification for both the younger generation and the existing workforce. Mike is a graduate of Texas Tech University, where he received a B.S. in business management. He serves on a wide range of economic development, workforce development and chamber groups. Mike resides in Andover, Kansas with his wife, Rachal. They have two children, Nicole, a 2016 graduate of Kansas State University, and Zach, a freshman golfer at Allen County Community College. The Four–Way Test
