RotaRy Kiln, DRyeR anD CooleR PaRtsHARCLIFF MINING SERVICES produces a comprehensive range of rotary kiln, dryer and cooler parts widely used in the cement, ferrochrome, vanadium and petrochemical industries.

Features and benefits:• Scale Kiln components are produced in line with design requirements and include castings of up to 150 tons in weight and a diameter of 12 metres – a range sufficient to accommodate even the largest kiln and dryer designs.

• Material selection Materials used for the entire range of castings and forgings are carefully selected to ensure the highest quality and durability. These conform with American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and European (EN) gradings, specifications and categorisations.

PRoDUCtion sPeCiFiCations anD PRoCessesThe casting process is enhanced through the use of liquid refining furnace technology to ensure the removal of impurities while forgings are manufactured from vacuum degassed billets. An important benefit is Harcliff’s ability to forge large type riding rings and rollers. The material has a superior structure and is therefore significantly less likely to contain impurities.

Open gearing and gearbox assemblies are designed to strictly conform with American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA) guidelines in respect of strength and durability.
