25-30 girls and boys

16 – 19 years

Participants must have a working knowledge of English. During the three-week camp, we will prepare practical courses of Chinese

language (Mandarin) and fun activities to experience Chinese culture. For

example, Chinese calligraphy class, Chinese opera, Chinese knot arts, tai

chi, traditional Taiwanese cuisine, etc. Students will also visit places of

interest around Taiwan, and get to know Taiwan local customs.

( Be prepared to present you and your country.)

Accommodation will be in host families or dormitory.

Casual and formal. You need sports clothes and walking shoes.

Arrival/ Departure By plane: Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport Arrival time: July 27-28, 2019 Departure: August 17, 2019 (participants will be picked up by camp officers)

Costs Participants will have to pay a registration fee of USD$900 after acceptance

and travel costs to and from Taiwan. They also should bring adequate

pocket money. All other costs will be covered by the host district.

I nsurance All participants must be insured against illness, accident and third party dam-

ages according to Rotary International recommendations.

Registration The YEO´s of the participating country are asked to send their applications

on international standard forms before March,31st 2019.
