during her trip to Mongolia – a nomadic country with a rich

history and devastating political and economic struggles throughout the 20th century. She went there last year for the festival of the Three Manly Games.

Incoming President Bob Brown challenged us to celebrate Rotary by telling our story. A Rotarian for 40 years, Bob shared with us that in the many clubs that he has been a member of, ours is the most involved, has the most outreach activities and is a vibrant and caring club. He wants to continue celebrating that. Our Scholarship program is unmatched anywhere, our

involvement with providing guidance to young people in our area in our InterAct and Speech Contest is unique and we give of ourselves and our monies to local

charities through our Meet the Pros event and Roses Sales.

Rotary is many things but above

to Rotary Cares Report which will include more information of the

wellbeing of our members Let us know of anyone who needs “care”.

Susan Imhoff is updating our directory and needs your input. Please look over your information in the directory (Go to www.ssirotary.org, click on Publications, then Directory) Make sure the information is current and correct. Also, if you would like to update your picture (example – mine is in desperate need of update – just as Trump told Sean Spicer to wear a darker suit, I need to do the same!) Susan will be at the meeting early on

Tuesday and will have a copy of the Directory. Back to the Future? We will have humor return to our Rotary Club! Bob announced that we will be sharing a little humor every week. Jim Henderson visited us a few weeks ago and reminded us that we really missed his weekly “observations”. Good luck, Bob! Jim’s a hard act to follow!
