    Rotork UK Leeds Operations

With a 5,550 m2 workshop facility Rotork UK offers full service and overhaul support for all Rotork products, including large fluid power actuators.

On-site facilities at Leeds include research & development, pressure testing, life testing and custom machining. The company is active in all industry sectors including the power, water and chemical industries, with dedicated site support teams located throughout the UK.

    Sales and Support

Rotork UK Ltd incorporates UK sales and support for Rotork Controls, Rotork Fluid Systems and Rotork Gears product ranges.

    Rotork's Largest UK Stocking Centre

The 7,450 m2 facility includes an area dedicated to product stocking for immediate distribution thoughout the UK and Ireland.

    Manufacturing Operations

On-site manufacturing of Rotork Fluid Systems fluid power actuators including the Skilmatic range and Rotork Gears gearboxes and gear operators for all valve types.

    Rotork Site Services

The Leeds facility is home to Rotork's largest UK service operation, incorporating dedicated telephone support, workshop services and field service operations.

    Rotork Site Services Operations Include:

    Emergency and Planned Maintenance

Available for all types of actuator, in all areas (including hazardous environments). Planned response for all types of actuator work, including installation, commissioning, upgrading, connection and installation of bus communication systems, troubleshooting and repair of damaged or deteriorating assets.

    Actuator Overhauls

After a long service life customers may prefer their actuators to be completely overhauled rather than replacing them with new ones. In our workshops we can completely strip and rebuild actuators, returning them to their original state.

    Preventative Maintenance

We provide preventative maintenance to enhance the integrity of actuators and their associated valves. We tailor programmes depending upon the type of actuators, the availability of asset information, and the criticality of the plant to maximise up-time whilst minimising operating costs.

    Retrofitting Actuators to Existing Valves

We have extensive experience in fitting actuators to valves, penstocks and dampers that are already installed as part of existing plant. Whether customers are replacing obsolete actuators, changing power sources or motorising manual valves, we offer a tailor made solution to meet customers’ specific requirements.

    Shutdown Outages

We can support customers in making sure that all their actuators are fully operational and that they meet tight shutdown deadlines. We are capable of servicing many actuators simultaneously, for example some customers look for us to remove and overhaul in our workshops over 200 actuators at the same time. We do this, reinstall and commission the actuators and, where requested, carry out additional actuation projects simultaneously to ensure that customers make the most of their plant shutdown time.

Factory Fitting of Actuators to New Valves

The careful assembly of valve and actuator is critical to ensure that an automated valve performs correctly and reliably. Whilst this service is often carried out by valve manufacturers, if there is a need we can provide this service.

    Rotork Automation Projects

Every year Rotork carry out significant control and automation projects throughout the world. This is a growing requirement from our customers who are often looking for a complete flow control solution to automate part or all of their processes.

    Rotork Fluid Systems Products

Rotork Fluid Systems is the worlds leading independent manufacturer of pneumatic, hydraulic and electro-hydraulic actuators. With manufacturing facilities throughout the world, our Leeds facility is both a manufacturing location for the Skilmatic range and a stocking centre for actuator distribution throughout the UK and Ireland.

Rotork Fluid Systems manufactures a comprehensive range of high quality fluid power actuators and control systems. We are dedicated to providing superior performance actuators for use on general purpose (on/off), protective service and special valve applications.

Leeds is the manufacturing and R&D centre for Skilmatic actuators. Skilmatic self-contained electro-hydraulic actuators continue to evolve and are at the forefront of technology for safety related valves and dampers control. The Skilmatic Leeds facility includes manufacturing, testing, R&D, sales & after sales support to the worldwide Rotork sales teams.

Rotork Fluid Systems UK provide sales, custom engineered solutions and stock distribution of all Rotork Fuild Systems products throughout the UK and Ireland.

    Product Ranges Include:

Skilmatic SI / SB - The Skilmatic range are electrically operated, self-contained electro-hydraulic actuators for both 1/4 turn and linear valve applications. Suitable for on/off, modulating and emergency shutdown duties. Compatible with all common fieldbus systems. Optional certification for flameproof (ATEX, IEC, CSA etc.) and functional safety (SIL).

CP/GP/GH - CP/GP (pneumatic) and GH (hydraulic) are scotch yoke actuators, designed to provide a rotary, quarter-turn movement for either on/off or modulating duty. The rugged design is available in either double-acting and spring-return versions.

GO - Pipeline actuators designed to use pipeline gas as the motive power source. They utilise our robust GH and RH quarter-turn prime movers and are field proven in installations around the world.

RC200 - Extremely compact pneumatic actuators. The RC200 scotch yoke design is particularly suited for valves with high start or end torque requirements. It is available in double-acting and spring-return configurations.

K-TORK - The K-TORK vane actuator is a ‘True Rotary’ actuator that does not require the conversion of a linear motion to a rotary motion. The result is a simple, highly accurate and reliable quarter-turn pneumatic actuator that is specified for the most demanding process flow control applications.
