vehicle

Tax Credit for up to 50% of cost of charging stationFuel Cell Motor Vehicle Tax Credit – Up to $4,000 is available for the purchase of qualified light-duty fuel

Advanced Technology Vehicle (ATV) Manufacturing Incentives– direct loans for up to 30% of the cost of re-equipping, expanding, or

establishing manufacturing facilities in the U.S.

Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Tax Credit– up to 30% of the cost, not to exceed $30,000, for fueling

infrastructure. Includes but is not limited to electric.

All fleet-vehicle purchases by the federal government must be hybrids, electric vehicles and other alternative-fuel vehicles by 2015. In 2010, 50,000 vehicles were purchased.Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE)

Standards: 35.5 mpg by 2016; now working on 2017 – 2025.
