SaturdayTo better serve customers, all westbound trips in theevening will travel along a neighbourhood loop fromErin Centre Bouelvard and Ninth Line to EglintonAvenue and Tenth Line.

Rather than pay a full fare, it will cost a PRESTO user only70 cents to ride MiWay when he or she is transferringto or from a GO Bus or GO Train.

This co-fare discount applies to PRESTO users, forexample, transferring between a MiWay bus at the CityCentre Transit Terminal and a GO Bus at the SquareOne GO Bus Terminal across the street (Station GateRoad and Rathburn Road).

Previously, the co-fare discount applied only to transitcustomers travelling to or from a GO Train Station. Now,PRESTO users will receive the discount automaticallywhen transferring between either a GO Train or GO Busand a PRESTO-activated local bus operating anywhereacross the GO network, not just at GO Train stations.

However, the fares must be paid with a PRESTO card toreceive the co-fare discount when transferring betweenMiWay and GO Bus service. The discount does notapply on bus-to-bus transfers when the fares are paidwith cash, a GO monthly pass, or with a GO 10-ride or2-ride ticket.

PRESTO is a GTA-wide electronic fare card for publictransit. You can load money onto the card and tap itonto a fare card reader on a bus or at a transit stationto pay a fare. All MiWay buses are PRESTO activated;each one has a PRESTO card reader to offer customersa wider range of service by providing them with theoption to pay fares using a PRESTO card.

Transferring between MiWay and GO Bus Service? PRESTO lets you Ride MiWay for LessPRESTO cardholders can now benefit from a co-fare discount when transferring between MiWay and GO Bus service.

Here’s how the co-fare discount works with PRESTO:

• From Mississauga to your destination via a GO BusTap onto a MiWay bus and a full fare is deductedfrom your e-purse. When transferring and tappingonto the GO bus, the GO fare is deducted. When exiting and tapping off the GO bus, the GO fare isreduced by the applicable co-fare discount.

• From your point of origin back to Mississauga via a GO Bus

When tapping onto the GO bus, the GO fare to the next zone on the route is deducted from your e-purse. Upon exiting and tapping off when transferring, the balance of the GO fare is deducted from your e-purse. Then, when you tap onto a connecting MiWaybus, the discounted co-fare will be deducted fromyour card’s e-purse.

PRESTO recognizes continuous travel by public transitby allocating a two-hour transfer window onto yourPRESTO card when you first tap on a bus.

For your convenience, you can load value on yourPRESTO card online, by phone at 1-8-PRESTO-123, orin person at the City Centre Transit Terminal or at anyGO train station in Mississauga.
