ABOUT TIM:As Vice President of Sales and Services at Deeplocal, Tims primary job is to assist Deeplocal withsales, marketing and customer service for RouteShout.

What is RouteShout?Routeshout is the leading mobile phone provider of bus arrival times servicing 118 cities nationwide.

Why and how was it created?Routeshout was created in Deeplocals Innovation Studio based on a pilot project with the Port Authority of

Allegheny County in Pennsylvania.

How does it work?For GPS enabled phones, Routeshout displays the closest bus stops for riders. After selecting a stop, the bus

arrival times for the next two hours are displayed. These applications can be access at www.m.routeshout.comfor mobile web browsers or by downloaded the Routeshout app on iPhone and Android. RouteShout is also

as Routeshout SMS. For SMS riders text, a bus stop key word to 25252 for upcoming arrival times for that

stop. Text Demo to 25252 for a demo message.

Can route changes and delays be announced through RouteShout?Yes, there is a subscription based alerts system controlled by the transit agency. Alerts can be sent to all riders

who have subscribed to RouteShout via text message or have downloaded the RouteShout application for smart

phones.

code. The Gumband API can be used to add text message functionality (subscribe alerts, text commenting, text

interface) to an existing product, application, or service.

Transit Agencies or AVLs can white label the Routeshout product. RouteShout White-label allows companies to

rebrand RouteShout SMS to match their existing offerings. Transit stops will need to display physical signage

showing the keyword thatis associated with each stop and accessible by SMS text message.
