COURSE OVERVIEW MTCS Ltd is a fully accredited training centre and our courses meet the industry requirements as laid down by the trade association IMCA. The 10 day ROV induction course begins a 1 year blended learning program focusing on technical and operational concepts within the ROV industry. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be registered into the Certificate of Competence Scheme. At this stage we also offer guidance on job applications. The ongoing programme includes a combination of distance learning modules on safety and technical aspects relating to ROV systems. This includes assessment and feedback on performance offshore. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS It is imperative that all candidates have a suitable technical background to attend the course and secure a position in the industry once completed. Candidates must therefore have at least 2 years experience in one of the following with an emphasis on first line fault finding and repair: Electrical/Electronic Systems Hydraulic/Mechanical Systems MTCS Ltd request a comprehensive and up to date CV from applicants and we will offer a fair appraisal of the candidate’s chances of securing work in the industry prior to them investing time and money on our course. ASSESSMENT & CERTIFICATION Assessment is carried out by:

Multiple choice exam

Written Examination

Observation (Practical aptitude piloting)

Observation (Technical aptitude)

Questioning Successful Candidates will be awarded ‘ROV Pilot Technician’ Grade II Certificate of Training’ and ‘ROV Pilot Technician Grade I Certificate of Training’.

FURTHER DEVELOPMENT Candidates will be registered into the MTCS Competence Management Program which allows progression through the IMCA grading system.

Inclusive of morning coffee; buffet lunch; afternoon tea and bottled water but exclude accommodation. *Deposit of £1000, payable by cheque or bank transfer, and a completed booking form secures a place on the course. Full payment must be received 4 weeks prior to the course in order for you to attend.
