RPI Selection Application Help Document

Click on any heading to sort by that heading.

Team Sheet: Click on the team name to see

the individual team sheet for that team.

Chronological Scores: Click on

bracket to left of team name to see

the chronological scores for that

team.

Close: Press the red X to close the team sheet(s). (Do

NOT use the browser back arrow to try to go to the

previous screen)

Select Teams: This menu item is used to save selected reports based on the number of teams

you have checked off with the checkboxes on the right of each team. You will be prompted to

name the report which you can then pull back up by using the Saved Reports menu option

below.

When you click OK after entering the

description, whatever teams you have

selected will be the only ones that are

displayed on the screen. (See screen

below)

Multiple Team Sheets

Team Sheets: Clicking the team sheets selection

from the menu allows you to view up to 3 team

sheets at a time by checking the checkboxes on the

right of the screen. You can select more than three

and then replace one of the three viewable with

others you have selected.

To replace one of the three team sheets that displayed, click 1

to replace the top team sheet with whatever available teams that

are in the list. Clicking 2 will replace the middle team sheet.

Clicking 3 will replace the bottom team sheet.

Side By Side Scores: Click this to view multiple

side by side chronological score sheets (Maximum

of 3) based on the teams that you have checked

with the checkboxes to the right.

Common Opponents: If all the teams

have at least 1 common opponent, you

can put your mouse over Common

Opponents and it will highlight the

common opponents for all teams in

yellow.

Conference Opponents: You

can hide or display conference

opponents by clicking

Hide/Display Conference

Opponents.

Saved Reports

Saved Reports: Click Saved Reports to bring up any

reports that you saved with Select Teams.

Click one of your saved selections to bring up

the teams that you saved. See screen below

that is the result of clicking the 4 Teams

selection.

Deleting a saved report: Click

the red X if you want to delete a

saved report

Close the Saved Report

window: Click the top red

X to close the Saved Report

window.


Conference Reports

Conference Report: Press this selection to bring up the conferences

and display the Nitty Gritty for specific conferences.


Click the dropdown then select a conference from the list to see the

Nitty Gritty for that conference.


Conference Selection window if you do

not wish to select a conference.


Select All Checkboxes

Select All Checkboxes: Clicking this menu selection will check

all the checkboxes that exist in your list. If you have the default

screen, every team will be checked.

Clear Checkboxes

Clear Checkboxes: Clicking this menu selection

will clear all checkboxes that were checked.


Reset Selection

Reset Selection: Clicking this menu option will

reset the screen to all teams sorted by name.

View in PDF (Printing)

View in PDF: Clicking this menu option will allow you to create a PDF of

the Nitty Gritty. This option will open a new tab in your browser or open

up a new browser window, depending on the browser you are using or the

options you have set up in your browser.

A new tab was opened when View in PDF was clicked with this browser.

The following screen will display the PDF tab.


This is the PDF that is displayed with View in PDF

menu selection. Most PDF readers have icons that

will allow you to print or Save a copy.

PRINTING NOTE: You should only print from the PDF

as shown here. You might experience problems if you try

to print using the browser file menu.

The RPI Application will still be open in the original tab (as

this example shows), or in the original browser, if the

browser does not use tabbing and the PDF opened a new

browser. The tab that is currently open in this example is

the second tab which is Acrobat Reader.

View in Excel

View in Excel: This menu option allows you to view

the Nitty Gritty in Excel format.


For the Excel document, the browser will use your default application to open

the Excel document. You may get a prompt that allows you to Open, Save or

Cancel this operation.

Links to Other Sites

Links to Other Sites: Click this menu option to get a link to other sites

if there are web sites that are used frequently by the selection

committee.


If there are available links, clicking the link will open

up a new tab or open a new browser for the link

depending on what browser you are using and what

.the setup is on your machine.

Clicking the red X will close

the Links window if you do not

want to select a link.

Yesterdays Scores

Yesterdays Scores: Currently, only used by Basketball or sports that

have daily reporting. It displays the previous day’s scores and lists

the top 25 RPI team’s results. This will open in another tab or

browser depending on your setup.


Conference Standings

Conference Standings: Click this option to get the

conference standings. (See following screen). This also

opens up another tab or browser, depending on the setup of

your computer.

Use the scroll bar to scroll down to see

the rest of the conference standings.
