The Rollease Acmeda Easy-Link™ system was designed to allow for multiple blinds to be controlled using a single motor or chain control operation. Achieving minimal gaps between each blind, the Easy-Link™ system provides the perfect addition to the Easy-Lock range when linking blinds.

Environmental Impact

With origins in chemical technology, Alkenz is acutely in tune with environmental responsibility. To that end, Alkenz created the world’s first non-toxic PVC compound to coat polyester to form a yarn that is stronger, lighter and less expensive to produce than traditional vinyl coated fiberglass fabrics. SunShadow has been officially declared safe when independently tested for volatile organic compounds by Oeko-Tex® Standards 100.

Anti-Bacterial

SunShadow fabrics are certified SGS-ASTM G21, 22. Having this kind of certification means that there is a reduction in the spread of germs in hospitals and other public institutions. With less bacteria spreading, there is better quality and efficiency in room hygiene. Other benefits include no environmental pollution from chlor-organic compound.

Indoor Air Quality

SunShadow fabrics have been awarded GREENGUARD and GREENGUARD Children & School certification. GREENGUARD is an indoor air quality certification program for low emitting products and materials. It is a requirement reference in the Leadership for Energy and Environmental Design (LEED™) for commercial interiors rating system. They evaluate over 75,000 chemicals, including: volatile organic compounds, carcinogens and reproductive toxins. Tests are done quarterly to ensure compliance with their standards. GREENGUARD Children & School certification establishes strict chemical emissions standards to accommodate the special needs of children in daycare and educational facilities.

Fire & Smoke Classification

SunShadow is made from stable, endurable, and fire resistant materials. SUNSHADOW fabrics are manufactured under strict quality standards and controls. The excellent safety factors have been test certified in accordance with all national and international standards.
