Types of Fee Requests
• Facilities Improvement Request
• Hall Council Fee Request
• RA Fee Request
• Co-Sponsorship Request
Facilities Improvement Request
• Used to request funds to improve the residence hall experience.
• Money can be used to purchase whiteboards, grills, TVs, vacuums, and many more things.
• Please work with your RC or GA to get multiple price quotes
Hall Council/RA Fee Request
• Used to request additional funding for programs that go above and beyond
• Examples include cookouts, outdoor movies, hall trips, and recycling contests.
Co-Sponsorship Request
• Used by organizations outside of Housing and Residence Life to request funds from the Resident Students Association.
• Money is normally used to fund programs
• This form can also be used to request non-monetary support from RSA including manpower and publicity
How to submit a Fee Request
• Visit Resident49ers.uncc.edu/forms
• Click on the appropriate form in the box to the left, fill it out, and click submit
• In addition to submitting the fee request, we ask that you email a detailed budget, publicity and any other materials to the RSA Treasurer.
Information required on a Fee Request
• Basic Information: Name and contact information
• Fee Request Specific information: current budget information, price quotes, rational behind the program or event
• What you’re requesting from RSA: funds, man power, publicity, etc.
Fee Request TimelineExecutive Council Meeting. Monday 5 PM
Contacted by the RSA Treasurer by 7:30 PM inviting you to the Executive Council Meeting
Submissions due by 5 PM Friday
General Body Meeting. Monday 7 PM
Additional Information about Fee Requests
• If the fee request is $300.01 you will present in front of the Executive Council at 5 PM and will be approved or denied and then present at General Body at 7 PM.
• If the fee request is less than $300.00 you will just present in front of the Executive Council
We are dedicated to you and your on campus experience!
• This year the Resident Students Association has allocated
$10,000 to RAs and Hall Councils for programs and facilities improvements.
• We have allocated an additional $5,000 for co-sponsorships to help other organizations with their programming that directly impact’s or residents and their experiences.
