Convince interviewers you’re the best suited for the job! Do work! Stress! Sell yourself! Fight for the coveted position!
Hand two of the three players resume mats, they will now be the two interviewees. The remaining player will be the interviewer.
When the two interiewees are ready, the interviewer picks up a open job position card from the deck. The interviewer will read out the position title, but does not reveal the card.
Now the two interviewers have 30 seconds to fill out their entire resume with the description pieces on the table.
The two interviewers pick the description cards they believe best fit the job title and must fill out their entire resume within 30 seconds, or else they automatically receive a rejection letter.
At the end of 30 seconds, the interviewer will review the resumes, and begin scrutinizing their qualifications by comparing their description cards to the desired traits on the open position card. Then the two candidates get another 30 seconds to sell themselves to the interviewer on why they should get the position. Afterward, the
interviewer decides on who gets the position and passes rejection/acception letters to each candidate.
If neither interviewees have qualifying resumes, both candidates receive rejection letters.
The next round, the accepted candidate of the last round becomes the interviewer and the remaining two are interviewees. If both candidates were rejected, the mats move clockwise one person over.
When any player receives 5 rejection letters, they feel utterly defeated and the game ends - they no longer want to be part of the job hunt. The prime candidate or winner is the interviewee with the most acceptance letters by the end of the game. If no one has received an acceptance letter, no one is the prime candidate for hire, and the Corp. Corp. representative wins.
