All missions should be committed to the following:

- Fill the application form of the temporary medical mission for hajj from Saudi MOH/ general directorate of health affairs Makkah through the Internet or Saudi embassy.

- Meet the requirements for medical in hajj before renting any building, through the net.

- Send the application form through the net before the end of Rabe Al awal 30-3-1430H.

- You will get the license after fulfilling the requirements.

- MOH licensure will be recommended officially to get the needed visas.

- It is contraindicated to open branches in the airports, Arafat, and Muna.

- Each mission should have a liaison officer to coordinate with the MOH.

- Each mission should fill the application form for drug permission and send it to the MOH.

- Each mission should provide all the necessary drugs preferably from the Saudi market.

- It is not permitted to have in-patients in the polyclinics.

- Each mission should have at least one well equipped Ambulance.

- The ambulances number should be proportionate with the size of medical mission (one ambulance per 10.000)

*Each hospital, polyclinic, or clinic should have the following records:

A record to register the patients including serial numbers, date, name in full, sex, age, nationality, passport number, address of residence, name of establishment, patient address in his country, diagnosis, treatment and results.

A record to register Lab analysis,

A record to register X-rays and results,

A record of cases that arrive dead or those who die after arrival including the information mentioned above.

*Each hospital, polyclinic, or clinic should have the following reports:

-daily reports of current diseases.

-referral cases,

-daily statistics of out patients,

All should be sent to the MOH fax number s481814 at 6am.

- All communicable diseases should be reported immediately at the same day.

- All communicable diseases will transferred to isolation department in KFH in Makkah

by the mission ambulance.

- All communicable diseases will transferred to isolation department in Abar Ali in Al

Medina almunawara by the mission ambulance.

- The ambulance should be disinfected after each patient transfer.

- Unreported communicable disease will be considered a crime.

- The medical service should be in a place that is easily accessible by ambulances.

- The clinic should be situated on a ground floor.

- Well equipped emergency room at a ground floor is required.

- Buildings, three floors and above-should have an elevator.

- The director of the medical mission should be a physician for the clinic or the policlinic

and consultant or specialist/ hospital administration/ or health care quality personnel for

the hospitals.

- All employees should be qualified, and having there updated CV's ready at the time of

application.

- Well equipped ambulance – at least one – is required.

- A valid contract of elimination of medical waste with one of specialized company is

required.

- Each policlinic should have a suitable number of human resources as MOH standards, according to the size of the clinics, at least 3 physicians with there assistants in every shift, preferred to be supervised by medical or surgical specialist.

- The number of physicians in the medical mission should proportionate with the number of pilgrims of the same country, according that one physician for each 500 pilgrims.

Guide line for infection control.

Building should align with a healthy requirement, the site, cleaning, and general appearance, sanitation.

The males should be separated from the female, in presence of enough number of workers.

Number of doctors required in each hospital.

Each medical unit have to have 1consultent OR specialist +2 residents.

Each unit is covering 20 beds.

Physician is physically available in the hospital according to the duties schedule.

Each hospital should have at least one public health physician, one surgeon, and one anesthetist.

Each hospital has to have the:

Pharmacy contains refrigerator to keep all drugs that may be heat or need specific temperature.

Laboratory with a basic requirement CBC, Chemistry, and serology machines.

X-ray department with full basic requirements.

Equipment for pharmacy

3. Drug dispensing sites for males and females.

4. Large refrigerator to keep medicines and solutions that are affected by heat and need certain temperature.
