OPPORTUNITYRumex International Co. of Clearwater is a leading manufacturer in opthalmic and cardiovascular microsurgical instruments. Based in Moscow, Russia, with North American headquarters located in Clearwater, Rumex was looking to distribute their global exports into new areas of Latin America and the Middle East.

SOLUTIONEnterprise Florida, Inc. (EFI) hosted Rumex as part of the Florida Pavilion at the Arab Health tradeshow to help the company reach new Middle Eastern markets. Rumex will also attend the Hospitalar show in Brazil with EFI in May to further expand their presence in Latin America.

IMPACTAs a result of their participation in Arab Health, Rumex made valuable connections to potential distribution partners in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Iraq and other Gulf region countries. Rumex expects new business with Middle Eastern partners to increase total sales by 20 percent next year.
