Arising out of the report of Committee on standardisation of facilities in running

rooms on Indian Railways, the following guidelines are issued for the Railways :-

Inspection schedule for running rooms should be circulated to all Officers and·

Inspectors and

Headquarter

Officers and Inspectors should ensure that inspections

are being

carried

out as per laid down schedule.

A

Standing Committee under the

Chairmanship of ADRM of the Division with Power Officer as its Secretary

should be set up. Officials of Engineering, . Electrical, S&T, Safety should serve

as its Standing Members. this' Standing -'Committee must ensure quarterly

inspection of every major running room on the division. Periodicity of 6 months

should be followed for medium and minor running rooms.
