2017 Objectives (for NESCAFÉ farmers under FOSEK):

1. Establishment of 6 food crop nurseries in greenhouses

To complement Solidaridad’s agri-nutrition interventions, we arelooking for partners to provideindividual smallholder farmer packs(with nutritious seedlings, fertilizersand other farm inputs).

The designated partner will alsoimplement Kitchen Gardens inschools in our coffee areas wereNestlé is engaging on its nutritioneducation programme, theNestlé Healthy Kids Programme.

Implement a Clean Water and Clean Energy project

Clean Energy:• A Biogas project for the Nestlé Coffee Farmers• CMS can offer a credit package to finance bio-

digesters to eliminate cooking practices using firewood or charcoal.

Clean Water:• Promote usage of water tanks and water purification

tablets• Solvatten water purifying solar tanks as a possible

option
