Russian Art Week is a biannual event which takes place in June and November. The major auction houses Bonhams, Christie’s, MacDougall’s and Sotheby’s all join together to present a series of Russian sales in London. Several Russian exhibitions and related cultural events also take place.
We hope you enjoy our guide to this major event. We aim to provide you with comprehensive listings of all sales, events and a directory of Russian auction houses, galleries, dealers and specialist institutions.
Our week this year also supports the UK-Russia Year of Culture in 2014. The British Council and Russian Embassy have organised an exciting programme of events across the country. This year Russian culture from ballet and theatre to film and literature will be presented.
