Liaison Program Update: Goals of the Program

Be a team of knowledgeable, active, pro-active, individuals who are providing excellent bi-directional, timely communication between the experiments/collaborations and the Computing Sector for any and all computing needs and issues andfulfilling the responsibilities as defined in the Liaison document.

What Margaret and I currently aim to do in 2013

• Communication to and from Liaisons– ~6 x Monthly meetings and then get feedback on changes/ usefulness.– Other emails part of communications plans of projects, services, etc.

• Updated MOU template and tracking– Behind on goal to update by end of 2012. Need help here!

• Computing Needs processes: – SCPPM, – Execution of the Request New/A Scientific Service process

• Initial version of “Computing Procedures for Research Groups and Researchers” – computing part and extensions to the PFX; work with the Services Manager

• Input to Liaison performance goals and performance assessments.– Liaison training guidance/video.

• KPIs/metrics– Thinking for next meeting

• Communicate, get input for program around Fermilab/Users/Management
