RW-UV SeriesSkid-Mounted WaterReclamation SystemsWater Control RW-UV Series Water Reclamation Systems provide an innovative option for drastically reducing building water and sewer usage, gaining multiple points towards LEED® certification, and minimizing the negative environmental impact of new and existing commercial facilities. These systems harvest and store water from building storm drainage systems (as well as other select sources such as condensate and filter backwash) – and then reuse it to provide clean, nearly potable quality water to irrigation systems, toilets, urinals, cooling towers, refrigeration equipment, and other non-potable fixtures. With over 35 years of experience in commercial water filtration and conditioning, Water Control is a name you can count on for innovative, high quality solutions to your "green" system challenges.

System Advantages:· May contribute toward multiple points under LEED® v4 program:

- “Integrative Process” (1 point)- “Outdoor Water Use Reduction” (Pre-requisite + 1-2 points)- “Indoor Water Use Reduction” (Pre-requisite + 2 – 7 points)- “Cooling Tower Water Use” (1 – 2 points)- “Rainwater Management” (1 – 3 points)- “Regional Priority” (up to 4 points)

· Greatly reduces water and sewer usage: Reduced impact fees!· NO Chemicals or additives required· Minimal system maintenance requirements· Guaranteed minimum disinfection levels· The only system able to maintain a clean cistern environment!· BMS-compatible – Call for details.

RW-UV Series Details:

RW-UV SERIES UNITS Turnkey water reuse systems, which arrive pre-plumbed and pre-wired for easy installation and operation. A powerful UV germicidal lamp system deactivates and destroys microorganisms and pathogens. The onboard purification process provides filtered, sanitized, reclaimed water on-demand. No post holding tank or sump pump is required. The system’s small footprint takes only minimal space in the mechanical room.

ULTRAVIOLET GERMACIDAL LAMPS Works seamlessly with on-board filtration and repressurization systems to deliver verifiably sanitized water to fixtures and equipment. When water is required, a powerful on-board pump pulls it from the cistern and directs it through a cartridge filter and/or up to 4 filter bags (depending on system size), and finally through a quantity of 1 to 6 X 254nm UV germicidal lamp(s) designed to specifically match maximum system flow rate parameters. When water is no longer required by fixtures or equipment, an automatic valve diverts the flow of water back to the cistern. This continuous recirculation through the filters and UV lamp(s) ensures a clean, sanitized tank environment and can be programmed to shut down during off hours (for energy conservation purposes). If UV light levels become ineffective (due to bulb failure, bio-slime, or water turbidity), an on-board monitor instantly sends the system into fresh (city) water bypass mode and sounds an alarm. Similar fail-safe mechanisms are activated if the filter bags should become plugged (and require replacement) or if tank water levels become too low.

INSTALLATION After the cistern tank is in place, a plumber can typically install the system in two days. An electrician simply connects required power to the unit. Once installed, a simple, one-time factory startup is all it takes to get the system into service.

MAINTENANCE Primarily limited to periodic inspection and cleaning of simple pump baskets, and filter bags (which can be accomplished in a few minutes about once a month), plus the replacement of UV lamp bulbs approximately one time per year.

QUALITY FEATURES Includes a powder-coated aluminum frame, schedule 80 PVC & solid brass plumbing, a heavy-duty pump, stainless steel UV lamp housings & system hardware, advanced electronic controls with BMS compatibility, and much more.
