Richard Watkins – Personal Profile “Head Of commercial Business Engagement” A Company Director with over 24 years’ experience in all aspects of technical sales and sales management within the UK manufacturing industry which is firmly supported by demonstrable achievement in developing business from widespread industry sectors including Automotive / Motor Sport, Aerospace, Medical and Pump & Valve Industries along with a wealth of 1st & 2nd tier supporting supply chains. Working within the education sector in the capacity of “Industrial Partner” has also been a significant focus over the last 12 years with a focus on University / Engineering & HVM Catapult Centres at board level, with development of R&D projects and business relationship development with both OEM’s & SME’s. My approach is energetic, enthusiastic and extremely pro-active as a business developer with the ability to liaise and lead at all levels with significant experience including, marketing, client relationship management, sales training and team building. I operate in a very open, direct but involved style and try to constantly develop and improve my inter-personal skills in order to select, develop and communicate with the team.
