    ABOUT BASME

Business Acceleration for SMEs (BASME) is a NEPIC programme that helps small to medium sized enterprises from the Northeast of England and qualifying regions develop their sales to the Process Sector.

Were offering targeted support to 400 SMEs. Whether you are an established supplier or selling for the first time to the industry our aim is to help SMEs like you, to collectively generate 40m of additional sales from the sector and create 1,000 new jobs in the region.

What Makes BASME Different from Other Business Growth Programmes? Well help you to fine-tune your customer service and market development plans so that your service offering is more attractive to the Process Sector.

We want your company to flourish, so instead of offering general business advice well provide sector-specific mentoring, networking and workshops that are all geared towards you achieving sustainable business growth. We are funded to the sum of 1.5 million by the Governments Regional Growth Fund* (RGF), plus matched-funding from the Process Industries, which we use to provide activities for SMEs on the BASME programme.

We have found Business Acceleration for SMEs to be exactly what it says on the tin, we have signed up local companies for new LED Lighting and now have the opportunity to meet with a key player in the Process Sector, on site, to discuss potential future works. That could be a game changer for us. Craig Morgan, MD, GME Industry
