ST. ANDREW CATHOLIC CHURCH JULY 19 , 2020
SIXTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
Please do not leave your bul le t in behind in the pew.
Let us strive to share our God-given blessings with others. The more we focus on our blessings as God’s children, the easier it becomes to reject selfish, envious thoughts and behavior. May God’s gener-osity and great love for us al-low us to see more clearly what it means to build up the kingdom of God on earth by acting more lovingly toward others.
All Masses are suspended at
this time. Please continue to
pray

Envelope Collections
Please continue to give your financial support to
St. Andrew Church weekly. It is much needed
and greatly appreciated. Four ways to give: mail
it in, drop at the office, call the office at 631-
2333 for pick up, or drop in offertory basket in
church.
The following guidelines have been mandated by
Bishop Fabre of the Diocese of Houma/Thibodaux.
Please remember to maintain the safe distancing rule of
6 ft.
Only families of the same household are allowed to sit
together. All others are to sit 6 ft. apart.
There are two collection baskets in the back of church
to deposit your offering envelopes.
You are asked to take your handout and bulletin home
with you and dispose of it respectfully.
We strongly urge everyone to receive the Holy Eucha-
rist in their hand. If you receive by mouth, please wait
until all others have received before coming up.
We ask that everyone wear their mask the entire time.
Exceptions are Music Ministry when singing, Readers
when reading and Fr. Joe when he is on the altar.
Funerals have strict guidelines of 75 persons for
funeral Mass. No Wake will be done in church at
this time. A graveside blessing is also an option. A
Memorial Mass may be done at a later date.
Confession will be heard 1/2 before weekend mass-
es or any time by appointment.
If you would like to receive the Sacrament of
Anointing before surgery, please do so from home
before going to the hospital. Please call the office to
schedule.
Daily Mass times are Tuesday– Friday, rosary is at
7:30 am followed by Mass at 8 am. Weekend Mass
times are 4 pm Vigil, 8 am & 10 am, Hispanic Mass
Time is 1 pm SPIRITUAL COMMUNION
My Jesus, I believe that You
are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love you above all things, and I desire to receive You into
my soul. Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You
were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be sepa-
rated from You.
Amen.
You may say this prayer and receive spiritual com-munion as often as you would like.

We have suspend the transporting of
the Vocational Chalice at this time,
but ask that everyone pray for the
Vocations of Holy Priests , espe-
cially in our own community.
When people with particular qualities are
matched with the liturgical roles that call for
those qualities, THE LITURGY CAN SPEAK
POWERFULLY TO US, MOVING US TO
PRAYER.
