TERRAIN EFFECTS

• Relief: Area consists of flat plains with gently rounded hills and drainage basins. High ground limited to 105m hills.

• Hydrology: Multiple days of rain cause swelling of streams to make fording impossible. Heavy rains will also degrade NVG capabilities.

• Vegetation: Forest covers 95% of the 41st AO allowing good concealment from air assets.

• Roads: Extensive road network with most areas accessible by improved/unimproved roads and trails.
