Introduction
We are very happy that you have chosen our book - Great Piano Christmas Hits. Very soon you will astonish your family and friends playing many Christmas songs on the piano.
The following book is the third of a series of three levels that have been arranged in a very unique and methodic way so you will be able to play and enjoy the Christmas songs no matter if you are a total beginner, or if you have been playing for several years.
About our series of three levels for the Great Piano Christmas Hits:
The first level is for the total beginner, written in a unique and special way that allows you to play great Christmas songs even if you have never played the piano before. Whatever your age if you are a child, adult or a senior citizen - you will be able to play the Christmas songs which appear in this book.A note to parents we are sure your children will enjoy starting to learn how to play Christmas songs on the piano with our easy and unique method.
The second book is for the next learning level of playing the piano. We get hundreds of posts on our website from people who want to play melodies in the right hand while playing the accompaniment in the left hand, and find it too difficult to combine both hands. We also get many posts from people who can read the right hand notes (the treble clef) but find the notes of the left hand (the bass clef) a little difficult to read. The second level is the best solution for you. We have arranged the Christmas songs in this level in a unique method letting you enjoy the harmony of the sound of both hands playing.
The third book is for more advanced students, where the songs are arranged beauti-fully, with a rich and warm sound and harmony, yet not too difficult to play. After all, our aim is to teach you many Christmas songs.
All books come with video tutorials for ALL of the songs. The videos are embedded inside the Book so you can watch whenever you want without needing any internet connection. You can play the videos backward and forward until you understand exactly how to play.
Hey, so what we are waiting for? Lets practice so we will be ready to play for everybody when Christmas arrives
Merry Christmas,David and Ido,www.piano-play-it.com

Lyrics:
Deck the halls with boughs of holly, Fa la la la la, la la la la. Tis the season to be jolly, Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Don we now our gay apparel, Fa la la, la la la, la la la. Troll the ancient Yule tide carol, Fa la la la la, la la la la.
See the blazing Yule before us, Fa la la la la, la la la la. Strike the harp and join the chorus. Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Follow me in merry measure, Fa la la la la, la la la la. While I tell of Yule tide treasure, Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Fast away the old year passes, Fa la la la la, la la la la. Hail the new, ye lads and lasses, Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Sing we joyous, all together, Fa la la la la, la la la la. Heedless of the wind and weather, Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Lyrics:
Jolly old St. Nicholas, Lean your ear this way!Dont you tell a single soul, What Im going to say;Christmas Eve is coming soon; Now, you dear old man,Whisper what youll bring to me:Tell me if you can. When the clock is striking
twelve, When Im fast asleep,Down the chimney broad and black, With your pack youll creep; All the stockings you will find Hanging in a row;Mine will be the shortest one, Youll be sure to know.
Johnny wants a pair of skates, Susy wants a dolly;Nellie wants a story book; She thinks dolls are folly; As for me, my little brain isnt very bright;Choose for me, old Santa Claus. What you think is right.

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!Thy leaves are so unchanging;O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!Thy leaves are so unchanging; Not only green when summers here,But also when tis cold and drear.O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!Thy leaves are so unchanging!
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!Much pleasure thou canst give me;O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!Much pleasure thou canst give me;How often has the Christmas treeAfforded me the greatest glee!O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!Much pleasure thou canst give me.
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!Thy candles shine so brightly!O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!Thy candles shine so brightly! From base to summit, gay and bright,Theres only splendor for the sight.O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!Thy candles shine so brightly!
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree! How richly God has decked thee!O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree! How richly God has decked thee!Thou bidst us true and faithful be,And trust in God unchangingly.O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree! How richly God has decked thee! !

Good King Wencelas - lyrics
Lyrics:
Good King Wenceslas looked outOn the feast of StephenWhen the snow lay round aboutDeep and crisp and evenBrightly shone the moon that nightThough the frost was cruelWhen a poor man came in sightGathring winter fuel
Hither, page, and stand by meIf thou knowst it, tellingYonder peasant, who is he?Where and what his dwelling?Sire, he lives a good league henceUnderneath the mountainRight against the forest fenceBy Saint Agnes fountain.
Bring me flesh and bring me wineBring me pine logs hitherThou and I will see him dineWhen we bear him thither.Page and monarch forth they wentForth they went togetherThrough the rude winds wild lamentAnd the bitter weather
Sire, the night is darker nowAnd the wind blows strongerFails my heart, I know not how,I can go no longer.Mark my footsteps, my good pageTread thou in them boldlyThou shalt find the winters rageFreeze thy blood less coldly. In his masters steps he trod
Where the snow lay dintedHeat was in the very sodWhich the Saint had printedTherefore, Christian men, be sureWealth or rank possessingYe who now will bless the poorShall yourselves find blessing

Lyrics:
God rest ye merry, gentlemenLet nothing you dismayRemember, Christ, our SaviourWas born on Christmas dayTo save us all from Satans powerWhen we were gone astrayO tidings of comfort and joy,Comfort and joyO tidings of comfort and joy
In Bethlehem, in Israel,This blessed Babe was bornAnd laid within a mangerUpon this blessed mornThe which His Mother MaryDid nothing take in scornO tidings of comfort and joy,Comfort and joyO tidings of comfort and joy
From God our Heavenly FatherA blessed Angel came; And unto certain ShepherdsBrought tidings of the same:How that in Bethlehem was bornThe Son of God by Name.O tidings of comfort and joy,Comfort and joyO tidings of comfort and joy
Fear not then, said the Angel,Let nothing you affright,This day is born a SaviourOf a pure Virgin bright,To free all those who trust in HimFrom Satans power and might.O tidings of comfort and joy,Comfort and joyO tidings of comfort and joy
The shepherds at those tidingsRejoiced much in mind,And left their flocks a-feedingIn tempest, storm and wind:And went to Bethlehem straightwayThe Son of God to find.O tidings of comfort and joy,Comfort and joyO tidings of comfort and joy
And when they came to BethlehemWhere our dear Saviour lay,They found Him in a manger,Where oxen feed on hay;His Mother Mary kneeling down,Unto the Lord did pray.O tidings of comfort and joy,Comfort and joyO tidings of comfort and joy

Joy to the World - page 2
Lyrics:
Joy to the World , the Lord is come!Let earth receive her King;Let every heart prepare Him room,And Heaven and nature sing,And Heaven and nature sing,And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing.
Joy to the World, the Savior reigns!Let men their songs em-ploy;While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plainsRepeat the sounding joy,Repeat the sounding joy,Repeat, repeat, the sound-ing joy.
No more let sins and sor-rows grow,Nor thorns infest the ground; He comes to make His blessings flowFar as the curse is found,Far as the curse is found,Far as, far as, the curse is found.
He rules the world with truth and grace,And makes the nations proveThe glories of His righ-teousness,And wonders of His love,And wonders of His love,And wonders, wonders, of His love.

The First Noel - lyrics
Lyrics:
The First Noel, the Angels did sayWas to certain poor shepherds in fields as they layIn fields where they lay keeping their sheepOn a cold winters night that was so deep.Noel, Noel, Noel, NoelBorn is the King of Israel! They looked up and saw a starShining in the East beyond them farAnd to the earth it gave great lightAnd so it continued both day and night.Noel, Noel, Noel, NoelBorn is the King of Israel!
And by the light of that same starThree Wise men came from country farTo seek for a King was their intentAnd to follow the star wherever it went.Noel, Noel, Noel, NoelBorn is the King of Israel!
This star drew nigh to the north-westOer Bethlehem it took its restAnd there it did both Pause and stayRight oer the place where Jesus lay.Noel, Noel, Noel, NoelBorn is the King of Israel!
Then entered in those Wise men threeFull reverently upon their kneeAnd offered there in His pres-enceTheir gold and myrrh and frank-incense.Noel, Noel, Noel, NoelBorn is the King of Israel!
Then let us all with one accordSing praises to our heavenly LordThat hath made Heaven and earth of noughtAnd with his blood mankind has bought.Noel, Noel, Noel, NoelBorn is the King of Israel!

It came upon the midnight clear,That glorious song of old,From angels bending near the earth,To touch their harps of gold:Peace on the earth, goodwill to menFrom heavens all gra-cious King! The world in solemn still-ness layTo hear the angels sing.
Still through the cloven skies they come,With peaceful wings unfurled; And still their heavenly music floatsOer all the weary world:Above its sad and lowly plainsThey bend on hovering wing,And ever oer its Babel soundsThe blessed angels sing.
O ye beneath lifes crush-ing load,Whose forms are bending low,Who toil along the climb-ing wayWith painful steps and slow;Look now, for glad and golden hoursCome swiftly on the wing;Oh rest beside the weary roadAnd hear the angels sing.
For lo! the days are has-tening on,By prophets seen of old,When with the ever-cir-cling yearsShall come the time foretold,When the new heaven and earth shall ownThe Prince of Peace, their King,And the whole world send back the songWhich now the angels sing.

Lyrics:
O little town of BethlehemHow still we see thee lieAbove thy deep and dreamless sleepThe silent stars go byYet in thy dark streets shinethThe everlasting LightThe hopes and fears of all the yearsAre met in thee tonight
For Christ is born of MaryAnd gathered all aboveWhile mortals sleep, the angels keepTheir watch of wondering loveO morning stars togetherProclaim the holy birthAnd praises sing to God the KingAnd Peace to men on earth
How silently, how silentlyThe wondrous gift is given! So God imparts to human heartsThe blessings of His heaven. No ear may hear His coming,But in this world of sin,Where meek souls will receive him still,The dear Christ enters in.
O holy Child of Bethle-hemDescend to us, we prayCast out our sin and enter inBe born to us todayWe hear the Christmas angelsThe great glad tidings tellO come to us, abide with usOur Lord Emmanuel
