Setup a PlantGUARD Supplier AccountIf you do not currently have a PlantGUARD subscription, please go to https://pages.plantguard.tech/johnholland.html and register your business details. PlantGUARD provider Aquipa will setup your account and assist you with getting started. Aquipa will invoice PlantGUARD subscription and plant registration fees to your organisation. 3. Select your organisation and fill in you details and select “submit”.

Connect to John Holland RailROLLING STOCK WITH CURRENT JHR APPROVAL

Existing registered rolling stock have now been connected to John Holland Rail in PlantGUARD and will show the current registration expiry date. While we transition existing registrations to PlantGUARD, the approved configuration and operating restrictions identified in the previously issued John Holland Rolling Stock Acceptance Letters will continue to apply. A John Holland Rail Rolling Stock Application must be completed and submitted via PlantGUARD prior to the next re-registration.

All existing assessments currently underway will be finalised under the previous process and then uploaded to PlantGUARD. A John Holland Rail Rolling Stock Application must be completed and submitted via PlantGUARD prior to the next re-registration.

NEW ROLLING STOCK REGISTRATION – NOT CURRENTLY IN PLANTGUARD

After 11 December 2019, any new registration request will be managed in PlantGUARD. Where the rolling stock is not currently in PlantGUARD select “Add plant” to add the rolling stock to PlantGUARD and connect to John Holland Rail.

1. Form the plant page select “Add Plant”

2. Fill in some initial plant details and select “Next”

When asked to whether you want to connect to a hiring client, select “yes” then “Continue”

When asked to choose a hiring client select “John Holland (JHR)” then “Submit”

You will then be asked to provide additional rolling stock specification details and complete the John Holland Rolling Stock Application.

NEW ROLLING STOCK REGISTRATION – CURRENTLY IN PLANTGUARD

If rolling stock is currently in PlantGUARD but not connected to John Holland Rail, select “Share Plant” and “Manage Connections”.

1. From the Plant page select “Share Plant”

2. Select “Manage Connection”

When asked to choose a hiring client select “John Holland (JHR)” and “Submit”

Rolling Stock ApplicationWhen you connect rolling stock to John Holland Rail in PlantGUARD, you will automatically be navigated through the process of updating the specification and completing the rolling stock application. For rolling stock assessed under the previous process and automatically connected to John Holland Rail at launch, a banner will be present at the top of the page asking you to complete the John Holland Rail Rolling Stock Application. You can complete this application in your own time, however this must be completed and submitted prior to the initial PlantGUARD assessment which will be performed when the next re-registration is due.

1. To complete the application, from the plant page select “Resume Application”

Initial PlantGUARD AssessmentThe initial rolling stock assessment in PlantGUARD will be initiated by John Holland after the John Holland Rail Rolling Stock Application has been submitted and accepted. This initial assessment will focus on design verification to the updated rolling stock minimum standard. For rolling stock with current John Holland Rail approval you will be notified 6 weeks prior to registration expiry. For the interim, we will continue to require a project request prior to progressing rolling stock assessment and registration.

After the initial rolling stock assessment in PlantGUARD has been completed, reassessment can be initiated by the supplier. Reassessment are focused on condition verification unless the supplier or assessor indicates that there has been a configuration change. 6 weeks out from re-assessment you will receive a notification. On the plant page a banner will appear at the top, select the menu button then “Perform New Assessment” to initiate re-assessment. You will need to provide some information and documentation to support re-assessment.

1. Go to the plant page and select the menu button in the top banner and select “Perform New Assessment”.

2. Confirm the Rolling Stock Specification, where applicable update the specification. Click “Next”.

3. Complete the reassessment questions and upload required documentation.

4. IMPORTANT: Once filled in, from the top right menu button select “Save Assessment For Later”.

PlantGUARD LabelAll rolling stock and plant in PlantGUARD should have a PlantGUARD label to enable easy lookup in the field. To attach a temporary label, go to download and select “Download Sticker”. Print this label and attach it to the asset in a visible and protected location. Then order a permanent label by selecting “Advanced” then “Order Sticker”. A permanent sticker will be sent your nominated business address.

2. Then from the plant page select “Advanced” and “Order Sticker”
