A bracket is designed to secure one end of an extendable barrier used in cinema queues.The preliminary sketch is shown in the figure opposite. 3D modelling software was used tocreate a 3D model of the bracket.

The profile shown in Step 1 was drawn using 3D modelling software and using the sizes on thepreliminary sketch. The “extrude” command is used to make the profile in Step 1 into the 3Dmodel shown in Step 2.
