We have developed an All Hydraulic ejection system for road milling tooling based on our mining "Blocksaver" system that has been well proven in an underground mining environment andhas been in use for the past 12 years in over 300 installations.

A PCT Patent Application (based on GB Patent Applications 1002949.4 filed 22ndFeb 2010 and 1011427.0 filed 7th July 2010) have been filed for this Product.

By applying low pressure, generally no more than 500 psi is required, the bit can be ejected by actuating a hydraulicpiston housed in the sleeve. The pistoncan be pushed back down the sleeve by opening the hydraulic connection back to tank so no oil is lost.A replacement bit can then be fitted.

If the sleeve needs replacing, then simply apply more pressure of around 4000 psi to fully eject the sleeve.Seized and broken bits will be ejected with the sleeve.

Both the bit & the sleeve can bereadily hydraulically ejected by attaching a hydraulic feed to the block.No other tools are required.
