SA Technical memorandum No. 11-SA-01 has guidelines on how to design flexible pavement

For 10-ton Flexible Pavement design, designers must use either:

MnDOT R-Value chart or MnDOT Flexible Pavement Software or

MnPave Software State Aid – Ultimate 10 Ton Staged

Use the “Ultimate 10 Ton Staged Flexible Pavement Design” chart.

At the moment: 3 ATR’s installed couple of years ago 5 installed this year(2011/2012) – 4 waiting for

power and phone connection 14 to be upgraded, 1 new for 2012/2013 Total # of ATR’s on State Aid routes will be 23

The whole idea of these ATR’s is to improve traffic data collection on local roads, including VC.
