    "AIM FOR THE STARS"

"In order to succeed we must first believe that we can.” - Nikos Kazantzakis

This quote helps me improve myself. This quote boosts my confidence and gives me reasons why I need to pursue my studies, why I need to become a fighter.

To believe that we can do these things is what people need to achieve to get what they want in their lives. Believing that we can is quite helpful for everyone. Success is one of the most important things we need to get in order to have a better life. Success is like a diamond that everyone wants. But to succeed is not that easy. You encounter different problems BUT BELIEVING THAT YOU CAN WILL HELP YOU OVERCOME THE CHALLENGES OF LIFE.

Work hard and always give your best, enjoy and treasure every moment that comes to your life, stay positive and have strong faith in God, at the same time, believe that you can. This will help you become a successful person.

When I was 7 years old, my teacher asked me what I wanted to be. I proudly answered that I want to become a nurse to help other people, specially who are in need. But in order to fulfill my dream I needed to study. I studied hard when I was in elementary. I excelled in the class. I became more studious when I stepped into High School.

Because of lack of money, I realized that my dream was not for me. When I was 7 years old, I thought being studious was enough to make my dreams come true but money is a must and should be considered when choosing the right program. I studied and prayed hard to be on top. I asked God, "kahit hindi na po ako maging nurse, basta po makapag college lang ako" (even if I cannot be a nurse, as long as I can go to college). God is really great. I graduated with honors and went to college to take my second choice, program of BS Accountancy.

I thought my life was over when I couldn't get into college. Scholarships really help a lot even though having scholarships is really a pressure to me. Not only with the help of scholarship but also with the help of that quote and with the help of God and my family, I am now in college.

I'll become a 2nd year college student this coming semester. I need to prove that I can. I must prove that I'm worthy to become a Certified Public Accountant someday. God is awesome. Life is just only a show. Let’s give Him the best performance. Let’s aim for the stars.

    AIM FOR THE STARS

He can’t see anythingHe can’t hear anythingHe can’t even walkHe can’t even talk

He is a person with disabilitiesHe can’t perform some activitiesBut as long as he knows how to prayHis life would be vivacious as the Lord lights his way

Some people hate him because of his flawsSome say he’s not normal3.But it is not what matters‘Coz he knows God loves him no matter what.

He wants to get to the finish line of his lifeHe wants a star that may give him a better lifeHe is not perfect or impeccableBut he can appreciate things, big or small

He can’t see anythingBut he knows his way to his dreamsHe can’t hear anythingBut he knows what to do to achieve his dreams

He can’t even walkBut he knows how to get to the finish lineHe can’t even talk But he knows how to bring out the things on his mind

Yes, he is a person with disabilitiesBut he is also a person with lots of dreamsHe didn’t take his life too seriouslyHe aims for the stars and he is quite happy.

APPRECIATION OF ONE’S KINDNESS FOR THE FUTURE’S SWEET SCENT OF SUCCESS

“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them”.

I dreamt that one day my family can escape from this poor-kind of living when I finished my education and had reached my desired profession successfully. I guess everyone of us crave for wealth, but in reality, things we covet are not as easy as we think. We must first educate ourselves and overcome the challenges as well as struggles connected with education. The very first dilemma a student like me faces is the financial problem. But with the help and support of good-hearted persons, I can achieve my dream to be a Certified Public Accountant.

I consider myself lucky for I have the opportunity to study in college while most of my classmates in elementary had stopped studying for college because they cannot afford fees and expenses. My parents had the idea to send me to school when they heard that you can

offer us financial aid for my schooling and I owe you so much for that.

On behalf of the Angeles-Boongaling family, we are very thankful to you. I do promise to study hard. As a matter of fact, I achieved a General Weighted Average of 1.4807 wherein I qualified to be a university scholar, which includes free-tuition for the next academic year. I maintain my responsibility of accomplishing high grades as small exchange for your efforts. I finished first year college level in my chosen five-year course and I will proceed to second year college, all because of you.

I imagine myself graduating from Batangas State University and having clients as a Public Accountant. I have faith that all my dreams will become real.

I know someday that all of our hardships will bear a sweet scent of success in the future. From the bottom of our hearts, we are very thankful.
