Sable & Ox is an online gallery for unique artwork. A show-case of original products. And a curator of some of the finest quality art, jewellery, sculpture, furniture and ceram-ics the UK has to offer…

You won’t find many companies like Sable & Ox. And you won’t easily find the items we sell elsewhere. That’s because we only work with independent, UK based arti-sans who share our aesthetic vision. People like you. This means that you’ll get the exposure you deserve for your work, whilst our customers get to choose from some very exclusive products – many of which can be personally tailored, just for them.

It is our aim to introduce people to an entirely new way of purchasing artwork, helping them feel reconnected to local makers and artists - a notion the age of mass pro-duction has ever distanced us from.

Once we’ve been through your details, one of our team will visit you to view your work. Then, if we believe there’s a good fit between your products and the Sable & Ox brand, we’ll agree how best to promote your work on our site.

Great photography is really important to generate sales. So if you’d like, we can offer help and advice on taking the best, creative images in different settings.

But ultimately, we leave you in control – to take and sub-mit photos that will truly showcase your skills.

Sable & Ox only works with artists that share our vision. And to help you use your valuable time productively, we make sure our process-es are as straightforward as possible.

1. Send us some info about your work such as name, price, description and quantity avail-able.

2. We put the information into the relevant category on our website making sure it’s as ‘visible’ as possible.

3. Then, as soon as a customer buys one of your products, we’ll send you an order by email. All you need to do is send it to the cus-tomer and mark it as ‘shipped’ on our site.

4. Sable & Ox will pay you directly for any or-ders, the month after we receive them.

How do I get paid?We’ll pay the money for each sale you make directly into your bank ac-count the month after we receive the order.

Who sets the price for the items I sell?You do. We’ll advise you on pricing if you would like – but the ultimate decision and control stays with you.

What does your service cost?Due to ever increasing marketing costs we will make a small charge to Artists who wish to be involved. However, this money will all be used to in-crease the visibility of you and your work through our extensive marketing campaigns. Payments can be made either by a “one off” yearly pay-ment or on a monthly basis to relieve the financial burden if that is more suitable.. Do I have to sign an exclusivity contract?No way. We’re all about increasing your chances of selling products so you’re free to promote them anywhere else. But we do ask that you don’t undercut the price on our site.

Who’s behind Sable & Ox?We’re a group of art lovers and eCommerce specialists, as you might expect. Our technical team is behind the successful online food market-place www.flavrbox.com.

Can I stop selling with you at any time?Absolutely. We won’t tie you in for any period at all.

Can I specify my own shipping terms?Yes. You’re responsible for shipping the items to customers so you can choose the delivery type and determine the costs.
